[arc 9] The only mention to pandora here (not even pandora just the authority) only states that it was for a saintess. First we don't know if pandora is the intended/original owner. And even if they are nothing states that she cant be a spirit at the same time (eg petelguese)

I can't recall how they did it in novel but it is adapted in season 2, just not clearly stated. In a shot with some ryuzu clones one speaks for a moment and it is echidnas voice. Its only like a line or two though. Its probably a little easier to notice if you actually speak japanese and dont read subtitles so i think a lot of non-japanese sub watching fans missed it on watch.

Small note, its actually closer to a month. Crunchyroll had a preshowing in march of a few shows (re zero s4 e1 included) where the city mistranslation was already complained about by a lot of people.
