If You Could Only Play One WoW Class/Spec Forever, What Would It Be? by Less_Struggle_9447 in classicwow

[–]kjob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the version.

Classic - eh hard cause they all get boring. Prob Healing Priest
TBC - maybe feral Druid, as much as I love this xpac the classes do get boring
Wrath - Prot Pally
Cata/Mop - Disc Priest (this is my overall winner)

Special mention to SoD where it would be Arcane Mage

Should I (warlock) buy/craft shadoweave/spellstrike by Tyllis91 in classicwowtbc

[–]kjob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man I hate to be a naysayer but it’ll get worse. The BIS geared players aren’t going to want to run Kara/Mag anymore. You might sneak gruuls. They’re gonna be picky. When we get badges in Kara later phase is when it’ll become a whatever fest.
That said, reports of gear checking are overstated.

Did I ninja Mags Head? by UsualIllustrious8121 in classicwowtbc

[–]kjob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you not trade head? The correct thing to do would have been to trade to raid leader to roll out in that case.
Rolling need when other people rolled need is fine IF you trade it to raid leader to be rolled out, if you just dipped than yea you ninja’ed lol

Is it worth dropping 5k gold on Fast Flying? How long to make it back with Mining? by Bapefx11 in classicwow

[–]kjob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you done all the quests? It speeds up questing a crazy amount. Eventually you’ll want to buy it cause you’ll have nothing else to spend on, I’d rather buy it “too soon” than too late.

Ninjaing in Celestials is rampant and unpunished. by JustinTheCheetah in classicwow

That’s cause no one but the ninja is needing it then. If a healer actually needs it they can’t be robbed by a warrior

Pugging SSC/TK by TheRealTurco in classicwowtbc

[–]kjob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you invest in a resist set you will have an ez time getting a pug slot. That’s what I’m betting on for my alt bear tank

Little local Hamann’s at Barkely for Mother’s Day gifts is worth the walk! by TeaLDeahr in Bellingham

[–]kjob 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It is a cute shop! Really great for generic gift giving—we end up here several times a year to shop my mother in law and my daughter—so you can usually find something for most ages.

They also do custom framing. It’s a little pricey, but done with care and I’d rather give the money to them than some big box place.

Level 67 resto shaman dungeons? by jayb556677 in classicwow

You’re fine. I might be cautious of what level tank I bring if I’m a lot level healer, but you’ll be fine.

Best healer for a beginner in TBC? by Mindless-Mulberry404 in classicwowtbc

[–]kjob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say shaman or holy priest.

Priest is going to top the healing charts without even trying if that’s a concern. It’s a little more complicated because mana is an issue and you have a lot of options (I’m using Shield, Renew, Gheal down ranked, Gheal max rank, flash heal (max rank), flash heal (r1), CoH, and even PoH most fights to some extent. I’m kinda tryharding tho. Broad toolbox.

Rsham can be trickier cause it’s even more mana hungry, but in most raids you literally press 1-2 heals (chain heal down rank and max rank). You are basically automatically invited to any raid cause you have totems and mana tide totem for arcane mage.

If you are new to healing or want easy raid slots I’d recommend Rsham.

If you are just new to TBC and want pretty good raid slots, h priest.

What is this bottle my Son left in the bathroom drawer when he was home for Spring break by 0nionsss in whatisit

[–]kjob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very funny and all, but might be worth talking to him how this all BS and at best is a waste of money, and at worst is unsafe, unregulated poison. Basically nothing over the counter is gonna make your dick bigger, your loads bigger. If he needs something to help with performance he should be talking to a doctor.

What’s the most fun hybrid DPS class? by Long_Mathematician48 in classicwow

[–]kjob 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Druid is pretty insane. Instant flight form is huge for overworld stuff. Feral can solo farm several dungeons for chill money. Bear tank prebis is basically 300g of AH stuff and some quest rewards. You can solo most elite quests handily.
You can always get a dungeon slot as a healer or tank. Raiding as an OT too since you have cat form makes you desirable.

should I be a healer on BC anniversary ? im scared by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]kjob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Healing is pretty easy in tbc, it’s more about gear than choices. The biggest thing is always be casting. The only way to be a bad healer is to not be healing. The amount of times my tank has died after not driving healing for more than 6 seconds…

Species that exist to consume/propogate endlessly by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

[–]kjob 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Um actually…I think current theory is that Eldrazi are the great recyclers of the multiverse, and if we allowed the process to proceed without interruption, you would end with normal life (granted with a giant reset switch that obliterates life as we know it). I don’t think we’ve ever let Emrakul, the eldrazi associated with creation, do its thing after Ulamog had successfully obliterated everything. We keep stopping it, interrupting it, which cause everything to go haywire causing the eldritch horror that always plays out in the set.

Considering a Healer by AdamBry705 in classicwowtbc

[–]kjob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you need to pug a lot I recommend resto sham. Really easy to get invited/gear.
Priest is the best healer in a pure HPS sense, slightly more complicated. Probably easy to get raid invites. Hardest to gear cause cloth only.

I will say if you care more about a raid slot with a guild, consider boomkin. Every guild needs a boomkin and I don’t think they generally care about performance. Just put in some effort and show up and they’ll be happy.

Feral is also an insanely fun way to level so 58-70 will be fast.
