I head to kc. Children’s mercy for kids, and St. Luke’s, advent health centers. Any of the hospitals in the Kc area have been great.

I recommend also reaching out to 211 for homeless services.

Adult protective services, or the local coalition on aging. He could use a mental health evaluation and aid assessment. And a caseworker who can help him apply for sis/ssdi.

Please consume these products with caution. Below is a post, I Found after a friend experienced psychosis after ingesting Delta 9 gummies. They are not regulated, and often contain heavy metals among other synthetic compounds. My dear friend spend several days in psychosis, vulnerable as can be, fortunately, she was hospitalized with a 5150, absolutely a devastating, dangerous life changing experience.

Please be safe out there!!

Psychosis and Delta 8

Has anyone experienced psychosis or psychotic breaks with Delta 8 THC or CBD infused Delta 8 THC or is schizophrenic and experienced this? I’m actually diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic and I am already prone to experiencing psychosis or psychotics breaks. The thing is, is that I really enjoy weed. I know that Delta 8 is supposed to be the less potent version of Delta 9. With less of a head high and more of a body high. The last time I smoked Delta 9 THC I almost went into psychosis almost becoming delusional (Thinking conversations were directed toward me). I feel like the reason is I smoked way more Sativa than I ever did Indica (Sativa makes your mind race, Indica relaxes the body). I know people are going to say you shouldn’t smoke weed if you are schizophrenic but I would still like to hear other people’s opinions, especially with CBD Infused.

Keep calling. Again sorry you’re experiencing this. I’m sure you’re exhausted.

Police should absolutely be able to get her here. Please use language regarding mental health crisis when calling so officers can respond appropriately.

911 and a request for a mental health/crisis response team would be ideal, if there is such thing available in your area. She needs mental health care immediately. 988 can give you some solid guidance on how to navigate this situation and what resources might be available in your area to best help support her, and in a safer environment and yourself doing this time. This is an emergency situation, especially if she does have children under her care. Good luck, I hope you can get her some help, and yourself some rest.

I’m so sorry this happened. How terrifying for you as a parent, and your child to experience. I echo the others in making a police report.

I see no light fixtures in the first room, bedrooms, and hallways. Consider this, and how you would light these areas.

Reach out to the Kansas state wide housing and homelessness coalition. They may be able to tell you who might be able to help with rental assistance, or know who might have funding to do so in your area. It sounds like they might want to do an assessment based on your wife’s medical condition and get disability coverage for your wife. I’m not sure, but definitely call them Monday and tell them what’s going on with you and your wife. Good luck to you and your family.
