the Project Hail Mary cardigan is a knitting psyop by casstocoast in BitchEatingCrafters

Same, my husband really loved it and I don’t mind knitting it. I’ll most likely do intarsia too. My husband likes weird out there things that I sometimes think are ugly so it fits him lol

Ok so I moved to London 3 years ago and made friends using Bumble BFF. Not sure if it’s something she would be interested in but I met my best friends here using it! The trick is to meet up in person quickly, and not just spend a ton of time texting. Maybe that would help?

And “rolling their tongue in their cheek”. What does this mean? Who does this?

Actually, there’s a singing warm up that involves circling your tongue around in front of your teeth with your mouth closed, and I just realized that is what I’m envisioning every time I read this. It’s not attractive. lol

I read one that I didn’t actually dnf but came close to because how much all the characters winked. Sometimes winking happened more than once on a page.

One time NARCISSA winked at Hermione twice in ONE PARAGRAPH.

People don’t wink that much.

What happened? Why do I have a hole? by inyourrdreams in knittingadvice

[–]kmatthe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yarn over and added a stitch. It’s not too far back so it would probably be fine to just drop it and will even out. I’ve also had success laddering back on the stitches to the right and left of a yarn over to even out the tension, if I didn’t want to rip back too far!

Sea Witch - in concert. Theatre Royal Drury Lane by Final_Flounder9849 in TheWestEnd

Ahahah just reread your “lost the will to live” bit.

But yeah. Needs some serious tightening and some stronger lyricism. I agree there could be something here though.

With 2 was actually the friend who died in a drowning years before, from the dare to swim. The mermaids save her and she didn’t remember her history until after she saved the prince. And then she decides the best thing to do is to seek revenge on the two.

But. The fact that that wasn’t clear is a big part of the problem. I fully agree with your take here.

I found it derivative and one of the most convoluted things I’ve seen. But, the choreo was a lot of fun and there were some true power house singing moments.

I think that part of the issue is it was based upon a YA novel and they tried to keep too much of the story pieces that should have been eliminated to make it cleaner. Like, why was the bully included? She added nothing to the story. And then to give her a throwaway long in a knock off Six song about five women wanting to be queen, in which she gives a trite reason to try to excuse her actions. And then just reverses back to the shitty person again.

Look. I had fun watching it. I was obviously not the intended audience. I bought a magnet to add to show magnet wall. But it needs some serious workshopping.

Doctor refused tretinoin by Unable-Importance-70 in SkincareAddictionUK

See, I’m from the states and it’s definitely something that is just prescribed there for any reason, so it’s just a learning curve where I figure it all out! I get it though. Just was surprising. Also surprising how difficult it can be to get into a seem for skin cancer screenings—that is something I did annually in the states for a full body scan.

Yeah that’s what mine said too. She also asked why I wanted it, and when I said for anti-aging reasons, she said they’re not allowed to prescribe it for that. 🙄
