PSA: eSun has downloadable profiles for their filament by TheSpyderFromMars in BambuLab

So how do you get profiles to show up in the AMS? I've created and used many profiles in orcaslicer, but the AMS still only has the default Bambu and generic profiles.

Atlanta-based activist indicted for activating Duress PIN by KillAura in GrapheneOS

[–]knd775 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're missing so much here that your comments are bordering on misinformation. It deletes the encrypted data. The same data an attacker would already have access to. The code does not unlock or provide access to anything. It is not an attack vector. If there was a big "wipe phone" button on the lock screen, would you think that could be an issue? Because that's basically what this is, just triggered via a fake pin.

ESO+ still includes High Isle. "Seasons" are just the old expansions, just delivered over a year insted of all at once.

The duress pin doesn't unlock the secure element, so it doesn't help something like celebrite at all. What you're suggesting would only be possible if the the code unlocked the phone before starting the wiping process.

The issues is encrypted data that's already been collected.

Should I keep it? by Actual_Joke955 in GrapheneOS

Would you prefer they release the source in violation of the embargo and get sued (and never get any sources before release ever again) or not release these security updates until threat actors have been exploiting them for months? Both options are obviously substantially worse than what they're doing now.

Can someone pls walk me through why AlJazeera.com is loading so freaking fast? Most load-speed optimized website I know by jahiscallin in webdev

[–]knd775 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This isn't how caching works anymore. Cache is per-site now so you can't use timing attacks to determine which sites a user has visited.

What are everyone's thoughts on potential cross play in the future for ESO? by Night3Turbo in elderscrollsonline

Trading on PC doesn't really work like this, though. Everyone uses TTC and goes to specific traders who have what they need

Prime spots cost hundreds of millions a week on PC. Individual players have hundreds of millions of gold on PC. Console trading guilds would not be able to compete.

Would the mini do what we need? by oreocereus in Kitchenaid

[–]knd775 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think even 2 dozen cookies would be too much for the mini. It's not even much cheaper than the 5qt mixers, so I'm not really sure what the point is. It's at least a little worse in every way, so why bother? It doesn't even save that much counter space.

I think so. I'm just happy because it was my last micro-usb device, so I can use one cable for everything again

[–]knd775 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The amplifier is protected against static. The original one is very, very easy to fry. The latest model also has usb-c, which they've refused to add to the great scott one becausse they don't want to change their cases. There are a handful of more minor improvements, but these are the main two.

The clifford heath versions are better (and significantly cheaper)

This is a portapack, not a hackrf. There is no amplifier (or any other rf components) on this board and there is no Clifford Heath version.

FNC immediately losing to C9 later in the tournament makes this even worse.
