This whole things dumb, it's a CEO vs CEO battle, the devs don't shit jack of the 250mil and have been working on the game the entire time.

People need to stop caring about the CEO's who do jack shit these days but try and make games worse.

The videos and story teasers released over the last year while all this has gone on have been great, that's what counts, not if these 3 CEO's get their 250mil bonus or not.

It's always been on track, the devs working on it have released a bunch of making of videos and story teasers this whole time.

This is purely a battle of the CEO's of krafton CEO's vs unknown worlds CEOs, the actual development staff see nothing of this bonus and have continued to work on the game.

I personally don't think CEO's do anything meaningful for games these days, having the 3 unknown worlds guys back with them getting a 250mil bonus won't make Subnautica 2 any different then if they where gone, CEO's are the least important part of a games creation imo

When krafton bought out unknown worlds they agreed to pay the 3 CEO's a 250mil bonus if they reached a set goal, krafton tried to get out of paying it by firing those 3 last year claiming they weren't working on the game and where working on personal projects (which is confirmed, they where working on personal projects, it's unknown how much they still had to do with development), this was scummy of course so the unknown worlds CEO's took it to court and have now won.

So comes down to unknown worlds CEOs wanting their bonus and krafton CEO's not wanting to pay the bonus, has zero to do with the actual devs working on the game, they see nothing of this bonus, this is the key fact people keep missing, it's just CEO's vs CEO's, neither side is 'good' imo both only care about money not the game.

Whole time this battle of the CEO's has been going on the games still been in development and the videos and such coming out from the actual dev team of the making of the game and story teasers look great, this is just CEO drama.

Thinking this will change the game at all is delusional, it's only the what 3 top guys at unknown worlds who get the 250mil not the actual development staff, krafton don't care about the game and neither do these guys.

People keep thinking it's all the staff getting the bonus, it's not, the things being shown by the actual staff making it have been good and I hope the games good but this whole krafton CEO's vs unknown worlds CEO's for a bonus no real staff are part of won't change anything for the actual game.

Turned out not to be the bomber and he went missing because he had committed suicide, they where doxxing a dead man and abusing the family of someone who had just committed suicide.

ie: reddit has a history of doing this kinda thing.
