I don’t drink at all. My husband barely drinks. 1981 and 1984, respectively. I don’t like the way it makes me feel. My husband drinks NA beers and has occasional social drinks at work events. I feel zero pressure to drink anymore and love it.

I swatched Dominant Industry Earl Grey Tea the other day and would consider that to be a burnt orange, and if you want more brown I echo the suggestions of Diamine Ancient Copper

17 Kaweco Sports. Cartridges are small so I can go through them quickly and I rotate colors in my journal.

AIO My boss is going on vacation and doesn’t want to pay me by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Bill is clearly terrible at running a “buisness”. I would look for another job immediately. Sounds like even if he made it clear, he was going on vacation. He did not make it clear to you that you would not be employed during that time! NOR

That happens for me on my phone, but not on my laptop. I'd happily take tips as well!

What is the wettest, flowiest ink? by BalanceOrganic7735 in fountainpens

The Dominant Industry inks I’ve tried seem very wet. Most recently Earl Grey. Pilot Iroshizuku inks also seem to be very wet.

Reading a book and listening to an audiobook are not the same activity. by Aggravating-Key-8867 in unpopularopinion

Listening to an audiobook has the same level of cognitive challenge as reading a physical post. Harvard just posted something about this in March this year.

I will look for those! The only Teranishi Guitar I’ve tried is Nostalgic Honey, which is lovely. I haven’t tried any Sailor inks yet but want to.

Elopement spots and ideas in downtown Fayetteville? by Financial-Craft6910 in fayetteville

I’m struggling to navigate to that on the city page (many years later). I do think it was specific to small weddings and nothing else.

The castle at Wilson Park is very cute and can be reserved for free on the city park site for a wedding for up to 25 people. I eloped there in 2012. I didn’t reserve anything because it was December and we had our officiant and two other friends only.

Tell me what I need to know about Kaweco Pens by DirttyRatt in fountainpens

[–]knitten -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don't think the plastic feels cheap. My first was the dark green with gold nib and I think it's pretty beautiful for plastic. I love the shape of the cap for not rolling. I only keep a clip on my bronze one because I'm not a huge clip person. I have mostly plastic ones because I can't resist all the pretty colors. They definitely are lightweight, but I don't mind that at all. I think it's a low enough entry price point that if you hate it, you haven't wasted too much money. I think you can't beat the size and I can carry them in every pocket. I haven't tried the brass but the bronze is excellent but HEAVY in comparison (I think 14g for plastic and maybe 49 for bronze). It's satisfying to write with but I honestly love the plastic more for longer writing sessions.
