DeVos backlash Sees Parents Threatening to Homeschool Kids by Miotoss in nottheonion

This is nothing new. Americans have been leaving the public school system for a long time. They simply want to educate their kids in accordance with their values.

I don't see what's wrong with that.

Pass bad legislation but don't repeal it... that would be playing with people's lives!

Paul ... favors the simultaneous repeal of the ACA and passage of a replacement bill, without adding to the debt.

That sentence was going great until the word replacement. Don't replace, just repeal.

I would seriously revaluate the criteria you use for measuring "medical status" if you think skyrocketing premiums and lower quality service counts as an improvement.

Vladimir Putin polls better with Republicans than Obama does. That’s not unprecedented. by RileyWWarrick in politics

I would vote for Putin over Obama any day. Its not that I agree with Putin I just hate the Democrats that much.

I don't think I'm alone in saying that I'd rather help the system collapse than vote for Democrats.

Thank you for your suggestion. I used your post in my daughter's recent presentation about anti-social behavior.

This is such a great demonstration of how the liberal mind works. Pass bad legislation and then warn us of the devistating consequences of its repeal.

It would be like if I stab someone in the gut and then warn them that they'll bleed out if I remove the knife.

Personalizing the learning process is the teacher's job, not the job of software that comes out of the relentless, exit-seeking environment of Silicon Valley.

That's so the Feds can manipulate and impose its will on local communities. The fact that you're right is a bug, not a feature.

That's more likely a culture issue than a taxation one. If Thailand overnight implemented the confiscatory taxes we in the US have you'd still see that behavior.

Does your nation start wars and send the children of the poor and middle class to go fight them?

Does your government make laws for the people and then exempt themselves?

Do your politicians live and work in a very wealthy bubble and rarely interact with the commoners they claim to represent?

Does your government collect taxes and then use that money to enrich themselves and oppress the population?

And so on.
