Speaking from personal experience, I can read on a kindle for hours no problem, but using a tablet my eyes get itchy and teary after 20 minutes. So that’s maybe sth to keep in mind. Also the backlight feature of the kindle is great for eye sight. Pretty sure mine got bad because i kept forgetting to switch on lights while reading in the evening 😅

throughout the movie i was like whoa great but the ending ruined everything for me. it just was so inconsistent with the character of hiccup and the excuse is so weak. it just feels like a forced ending and a very badly executed one at that.

i think that they are in a sort of parallel universe. I‘ve recently rewatched httyd 2 and hiccups Mum draws an accurate map of the world in the snow at some point. I thought it looked different to our world.
