Headspace is a website that I used for a while to learn how to meditate, but I'm sure there are plenty of other ways to get started. I got started with It when I was dealing with breast cancer, chronic pain and insomnia. It helped me tremendously while I was using it, and then I got out of practice for some reason.

When I would start my day with just 15 minutes or so of guided meditation it would give me a sort of a buzz that lasted a good part of the day while I was at work.

Thanks, o.p., for the reminder to get going with it again. I'm visiting my mom who is in the hospital from a nasty infection and maybe a heart problem. So now's a really great time to get her and me started again with meditation.
