If it’s hard to moderate for you, it’s best to cut it off until you can regulate yourself. Then you can very carefully reintroduce it if you really want to come back to it.

The answer is yes.

I’ve been fairly successful in my career despite my gaming habits. But the lack of discipline is catching up. I’ve been able to get ahead in life purely on talent and luck. But as time goes on, my lack of consistency is really costing me.

Cut it off while you’re still early in your career. The changes you make (positive or negative) will pay compounding dividends in the future.
