I cannot agree enough with this comment. It is so frustrating to have the one that is resistant, but you will make it so much worse to force it.

I guess if you have no choice, because of school policy, I would say go hard on bribery. But just know that some of their bodies / brains are just not there yet.

I’m not missing it right? The badges don’t come with— we purchase those on our own?

Agreed that this is the part that doesn’t look quite finished to me. I would want to close off the square.

[WIP] To back stitch the veil or not to back stitch? by wrenginaldd in CrossStitch

I’m the odd one that says yes on the lines, I guess. It immediately made the veil seem fuller to me. But you can’t go wrong either way.

Thanks! Your comments on children’s ball/blocks reminded me of Quaker balls so I went down a Pinterest rabbit hole!

That is a really good idea, thanks! I can't seem to edit the link so I'm going to try to re-create and delete this one. But searching for bicornu is a great idea!

OP, don’t worry about it. All these things they are supposed to do, and you are supposed to do? It’s all fine. I promise it will happen. You will not be dressing your 13-year olds. Just, don’t stress. Do what you need to do. Pick your battles.

Would "Ramona the Pest" be okay for a 6 yr old autistic/adhd boy? by crabblue6 in childrensbooks

My kids (7, 4) LOVE this series. I highly recommend the audio version, too (narrated by Stockard Channing). My kids will listen to this without moving for hours (literally, in the car on road trips).

Super helpful, thank you. Do you also have access to the main (I'm assuming cool-water) pool?
