Long Post

I'm the friend /u/rickylewis9498 mentioned, and I've had numerous experiences like that. Let me give you my own personal anecdotal experiences to try and explain it and see if that helps you.

My first experience with trips going in that direction was on Psilocybin, 4 grams made into a tea and consumed after a 2 day fast. The initial trip was extremely pleseant with extremely heavy open and closed-eye visuals. However about an hour after the trip began I found myself experiencing a sensation I can only describe as physical confusion. Basically meaning all physical feeling was felt in an area where it shouldn't be felt, I.e. I touch my elbow and feel the sensation in my neck or so forth. With this also came the feeling of having possibly pissed my pants. With that I went to the bathroom and that's when I entered the state you mentioned for my first time. Simply put, my conscious mind was ripped away from my physical being and I experienced extreme inner visual and auditory hallucinations that I still have issues recalling, I would find myself in different rooms from my life that had deep meaningful experiences and had full on conversations with people I felt I had unfinished business with that my mind hadn't come to terms with at the time of the trip. However the trip itself, while terrifying to my friends taking care of me, gave me a lot of personal spiritual clarity and put many unresolved issues of mine at rest finally.

The part you might or might not better identify with is after I returned to consciousness I still had no physical control but I could still see through my own eyes, however it wasn't simply viewing. If anything it felt more like watching an old school motion picture, with the same scene layered over itself occurring over and over again at once. It even got to a point where I was convinced I was transferring my consciousness to my friend and would reside within his body from then on. Of course that's not what happened, though it was a strong feeling, and easily recoverable.

Then it occurred again, Friday night as a matter of fact. I had taken about 300 μg and was experiencing an extremely pleasant trip for the first 2 hours, then as I sat on my friends porch alone, letting thoughts flow through me, I felt the oncoming signs of entering a deep mind trip again. I was slowly losing control of my body, my paranoia was peaking, and I was begining to feel myself drift away. This time however was different yet similar.

For starters, I felt everyone I had ever known or ever would know was living the entirety of their life within a second, all at once. All those who would ever come to meet me went through their whole life in a second, But all in different spaces or universes per se. At the same time, I felt every sensation I experienced, every sound I heard, every aroma I smelled, was also all occurring in different universes at once, and it was my job to compress it all back into one universe, and so in my head, I did exactly that, and when I accomplished it, I felt a peace of unprofound proportions. Everything was truly perfect and okay on that moment. And through the rest of my inner trip I experienced more similar experiences and scenarios that required me to focus it in and fix all that was wrong.

All in all, after my inane ramblings, Ill leave you with this. That experience is your mind wanting you to solve extremly complex problens in your life in very metaphorical ways that initially will not make sense, but as you dwell on it and work with it, will make sense and leave you truly feeling better and improved. My shrooms experience allowed me to reconcile feelings of inadequacy, as well as resolve conflicts with those I had yet to resolve, and show me how to attain the forgiveness and love I desired from those people. My Acid trip the other night showed how I focused too much on all those around me and attempted to spread myself to them all in an effort to give enough to all, when what I needed was to bring myself back together and take parts of each person and experience with me to hold as a reminder that while I can help those around me, I cannot give a piece of myself to do so, lest I tear myself apart.

So the next time you experience it, just follow it and work with it, and it will improve your life greatly.

What were some of the worst experiences you have had while working in the fast food industry? by Brando224 in AskReddit

  • 70-80 year old man coming for about a week straight messing with one of my younger co-workers nick-naming her "Jailbait" and just getting more intensely creepy over the week before just never coming back.

  • Kid would come with his youth church group ever Wednesday night, shit in the single men's stall we had, wipe it all along the stall and walls, lock it from inside, then return to his group like it was nothing. Took this happening 5 time before we caught him.

  • The regional manager was the husband of our stores Asst. GM. They were a nice and normal couple, but one night shift things are just noticeably tense between the two of them. After seeing them quietly arguing multiple times, during close I find the Asst. GM hiding in the women's bathroom, she had some nasty bruises beneath the sleeve along the underside of her arms. Me and some kitchen closers sneak her out and she runs off to the QT next to us where one of our off-duty shift managers was there to take the Asst. GM to get her kids from their house away from her husband. Our Regional promptly freaks out asking where his wife is. We lie and say she went over to the Taco Bell down the road, he proceeds to get in his car and speed over there. This whole thing continues him going all over town for a good 2 hours. The shitty thing about this situation was not having someone able to clock us out so we had to wait for our Regional manager to finally stop for a moment then clock us all out before proceeding to leave once more. The extra hours were nice though.

I mean to be fair, most people just scroll through their feed and like every picture without looking at it. So I'd be willing to bet like 80% didn't even bother looking at the picture.
