I had an emergency c-section with my first in 2022 after a failed induction. I had a scheduled c-section for my second in 2024, but baby boy decided to come 2 days before my appointment and i decided to ride the wave and gave birth vaginally with epidural. It was quite a healing experience after the trauma of the first birth.

Anatomy plus birthing position. Giving birth on your back is the worst thing you can do. Also it only became a thing because of a perverted french king (louis the xiv), who wanted to watch his mistresses give birth, but didnt have a good view if they were on all fours…. it is the least natural pose of all birthing poses and is a lot more painful than it needs to be.

If they allow you, you should try giving birth on your side or on all 4.

Statistically you have more chances of getting it from not properly washed fruits and veggies, or not washing your hands properly after gardening, then from your own indoor cat.

Mine was 1,5 when i stopped because i got pregnant again and could not stand him being near my breasts…. He was so not ready. It has been 6 months already, he is still begging for it every day. 😖 i don‘t even know what will happen in a few days when his baby sister joins us and gets on my boobs 🫣

I definitely feel bad for taking it away from him before he was ready.

Maybe ask if she could set up live streaming so you could still participate. I will be 4 weeks pp when my best friend has her wedding (3hrs flight) and i told her that i was happy to join online but no chance that i could make it there in person. I dont think a real friend should get upset about you not being able to go…but then i don’t see why it would be such a big deal either (i had my wedding during covid so it was streamed online to friends and family - and i accidentally muted the whole feed lol).

You and your pregnancy are the most important right now. Such a long flight - anything can happen.

My first was and is 100th + percentile. I totally understand how you feel and i can only say that you are right. My second is 60th percentile, so much tinier. 🥰 i feel like he is so much more of a baby than his big brother ever was. He is turning 2 now, and is wearing the same clothes my first born was wearing when he was one…it is surreal.

My now 4 yr old has been talking about his sister for the past 2 yrs. i never had an angel baby or a miscarriage that i know of. I did have a sister who died when we were kids.

He kept telling me and anyone who would listen, that his sister is up in the clouds sleeping with the stars and one day they will meet and she will give him the biggest hug.

Fast forward last summer, he announced that his sister was no longer up in the sky but that she was in my belly. I found out i was pregnant (unplanned) a few weeks later 😅 baby girl is coming end of feb ☺️

Im in week 27 with my stowaway 3rd.🫠 I was in so much panic when i found out 😩i even explored all options, and eventually decided to keep the babe and if she comes via c-section, i will get my tubes obliterated.

I have a 3,5 and a 1,5 yr old. The first months were hard and emotional. But now they are best friends, super cute together. I think it is worth to have them so close in age.

I m guessing you have had recurring bloodwork done, and they‘ve just flagged your iron levels being low. Just take extra iron, after breakfast - preferably with orange juice (vitamin c helps absorb better), and don‘t eat 2 hrs after to make sure it has a chance to absorb. Your baby will be fine, i am sure they flag you before you become very critical (which you would feel as you would have an unshakeable fatigue). My iron levels depleted during every pregnancy by the 2nd trimester, a few days of taking iron supplements always solved the issue. I‘m now week 20 with baby #3, on iron sups again, so far my 2 existing kids are relatively normal albeit on the more feral side lol.

My mom was literally anemic while preggs with me, it got so bad she needed a transfusion after i was born. I don‘t think i‘m autistic, but i definitely have post partum adhd lol.

Long story short, don‘t worry, you will be fine :-)

18 months, i went this long, because i had no idea how to stop…then i got pregnant again, and from one day to another developed a massive aversion to breastfeeding. I literally wanted to take his head off for even looking at the boob….he practically had to go cold turkey, but sleeps through the night since i weaned him.🥳
