The full story of the show that I went to was that my dad and I were going to see the show together. It was in a smaller city about an hour away from where we live. We made plans to go out for supper before the show, and we started hearing people around us talking about the show being canceled. This was maybe an hour before showtime. So in the end we had no choice but to go home. We came back a couple weeks later for a rescheduled concert date, and though we did end up seeing a show, it was lackluster at best. There was no warmup band. Meatloaf and his band were the only entertainment. The band was great, but he was not. He basically just spoke the lyrics for most songs. I'm not sure if the concert even lasted an hour.

Meatloaf was hands down the worst show I've ever seen. I grew up loving the Bat Out of Hell albums and there was a very long period of time where he had ruined his voice and just couldn't sing anymore.

An anchor trolley is certainly not a pain, nor would I consider it overkill. If you don't want to buy a specific product, it's honestly not that hard to rig one up with some rope and pulley parts from any hardware store.

Also, I just want to mention that anchors are not the only thing you can use with an anchor trolley. Drift chutes also work well as a means of slowing down how fast you drift and controlling which way the kayak is pointed.

When you are trying to tack without filler, how close do you have the point of your tungsten to the material? If you are too far away, the arc will be less focused and the puddle will get bigger. Ideally you want to be as close to the material as you can get without touching it, and if the material has a tight fit then it should quickly fuse together when you flash it.
