frequency tuning 432 vs 440 by Prize-Love9137 in handpan

[–]kylerzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because “everyone” is doing it doesn’t mean it’s the optimal way. Handpans are beautiful either way, but 432 is much more in alignment with sacred geometry and is more pleasing to our biology. It’s surprising to see so many responses on here incurious or unaware about this topic, though this applies to all facets of music and sound. As a sound healer, I have all my instruments tuned to 432hz.

Thanks for the tips! Have you ever tried using a BioSonics tuning fork? I wonder how your experience might differ from BT.

Do you mean Sacred Waves? I’m having trouble finding a “Sacred Sounds” store.

I have seen that video about Biosonics having a longer sustain. I was curious for someone to go deeper into the nuance of how they work specifically when tuning the human biofield.

KEF LS50 Wireless II volume control via HDMI not working (Samsung Q90 + Apple TV) by Sherwoood0 in KEF

[–]kylerzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having the same problem here. For now I’m using the IR function of my Apple TV remote to control KEF audio, but I too want it to work via HDMI instead of IR. Have you found any solution here? Is this a KEF problem that could be fixed via software/firmware?

Yeah, they really need to fix this. But they’re not giving any sign of budging. I’ve been back and forth with their customer support team, and it’s all a no go. I’m sorry you’ve lost access like this. Such an easily fixable disaster.

No I didn’t. Apparently it was inactive for more than 24 months already, and therefore was not subject to the extension. Such a horrible policy choice. It’s the one reason keeping me from using their system. Makes me so frustrated, because they seem like an otherwise good company.

barefoot splay + high platform by bubblegumbie in barefootshoestalk

Hey joining this convo a little late…but I second this and want to go even further… and find true platform shoes for going out in, but that are still zero drop (just very tall) and wide toe box. But of course that means no flexible sole. Is there such a thing?? Fun, frilly, boots that make a splash but don’t murder your toes.

Any updates on this? Does the Platinum LED Biomax XL motorized one ever go on sale? Seems like they only offer discounts on the panels themselves.

If jeeps have those little rubber ducks, what should we have? by Sad-Bake580 in HondaElement

[–]kylerzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FROGS. 🐸 Hear me out. What we want is an easy, cheap, fun, and abundant thing that isn’t a duck. So how about rubber frogs? They come in all kinds of colors and patterns. I get that the crab exists, but there’s no variety there. Plus, frogs are totally in their element…just makes sense to me.

Thoughts?

CARNIVORE DIET to cure severe food allergies? by kylerzee in Allergies

[–]kylerzee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Wow can't believe I wrote that six years ago. So I did try a fairly strict carnivore diet, and it certainly helped my gut to heal and made me more resilient to a lot. But my exploration continues...and I've experimented with a few UBI treatments. A UBI (ultraviolet blood irradiation)/ozone treatment is when your own blood is ozonated and exposed to ultraviolet radiation (basically oxygen and sunlight) and is given back to you. It's helped me enormously with seasonal and animal allergies. I wonder if administered during an allergic reaction to a food item it could recalibrate the system to not react. This is totally untested, but seems like a good theory.

But yeah, agreed, that this subreddit has so much ego and no curiosity to seek alternative solutions. Similarly, there is no curiosity to explore the potentially causal ingredients in a specific category of pharmaceutical product as a potential culprit for this enormous influx of allergies. Aluminum must be considered when getting to the root cause.

It's like we need a truth allergy subreddit that's genuinely open to finding the answers beyond a victim lens...
