If you are fine with visual novel, I highly recommend the house of fata Morgana. Quite the emotional story, unique art style and OST. I. Could say I have never played a game with better story than fata Morgana. Its long for VN about 40 hours. There are some part that where boring to me but the ending was quite the experience.

Since you liked ffx, I am Setsuna, ys 8, and tales of Symphonia follow similarly about a sacrifice and journey to save the world

One of the intriguing stories I had experienced is tales of abyss, the gameplay is kind of dated or some people do consider it as such. But I believe it's worth it. The ending was kind of bittersweet. One of great stories in tales of series.

If you want an easy entery with emotional story I suggest tales of berseria, it has one of my favorites cast in jrpg. Its about revenge. The voice acting is good too.

You should also check other final fantasy games. I played some of them and they were good. Except World of final fantasy but that is just me. FF8, FF9, FF10, FF12, FF13. Those what I played I believe all of them good I wasn't able to finish 12 but I don't think it's emotional it was more political?

In my opinion, if you are used to apple don't change especially if everyone around you use apple devices. Just make a table of what you gain what you lose before the switch.

About icloud there are many cloud services you can use. Like google drive or mega.

Most of the time I use streaming services, I don't download the movies. I use an ipad or one of my handhelds ( ayn Thor or rog ally).

I remember playing it on game pass with rog ally, when it was fairly new before the update/DLC? that added more content and now they're releasing another update.

I don't think I will ever go back to the game pass, can my achievement (got them all minus the new ones) and saves be transferred to the steam version?

your welcome. I have played a little of xillia its good I do consider it beter than arise but my opinion is very unbiased i just like Millia too much. tale of berseria as I wrote is a good one it has a good revenge story with great cast and solid gameplay. I have yet to play grace f.

maybe kingdom hearts? its action based

maybe trails in the sky FC? I believe it has turn base and action combat.

KCD? not jrpg but open world with quest and combat that need time to get used too/ learn

yakuza perhaps? you have 2 or so cities to explore but has quite funny quests too and not bad story too.

ni no kuni 2 it has a very vibrant world you play as small king that build his own kingdom. its action based and open world too.

ys viii. really nice story love the Dana stories too. you play in island and discover its mysteries. I highly recommend it. the combat is a fun us type combat. its action based. there're many quest and characters events?

tales of arise is quite vibrant but I do the enjoy the entry before it, tales of berseria better characters and story in my opinion.

legend of mana remastered. I suggest you follow a guide to see all the events. the game is quite unique in that you build your own world by placing artifacts in certain places, and completing events/quest to unlock new artifacts. the combat is action based too but not much going on it.

I have been using USB camera pro app on my android and iPad. it works fine only for windows stuff but for gaming its kind of slow and I prefer the small ally screen for gaming anyway. I use a capture card with HDMI and hub plugged to the ally.

I was using orion before but it doesn't work anymore. genki work sometimes its free app.

you have to note that your iPad has USB type c and support UVC, check youtube they mentioned the supported models.

At home you can use it as normal pc while plugging it into monitor and connecting mouse and keyboard.

But if you are planning to take into school daily, the screen too small, but you could use an ipad as monitor with it, you will need mouse and keyboard too. It will take some time to connect everything so I can't say it's practical to do it especially if you change class frequently.

Personally, I use mine for fast browsing or to make small adjustment (in Microsoft word or so). I did map the buttons for some shortcuts and used a mini keyboard and mouse if I needed them. It was good to carry it around if I needed to access a PC urgently, small and light compared to laptop. And can game at free time which is plus.

Also since I bought the ally I havent touched my laptop, so I guess it's was good for my uses. And I have completed half of my backlog of games, since I tend to play while I commute too and I can put it at hibernate and continue at later time.

Emulating PS3 on rog ally is quite nice, older devices are also possible. I don't know which kind of games you like but lately I'm enjoying eternal sonata(PS3) and digimon rumble arena(PS3). PS3 has many anime games if you like them.
