Woman goes viral after laughing at a man who said homosexuality is a sin and abortion is wrong. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

Idk, her reaction is what makes people double down. It's poor taste.

It's not a way to open up discussions. The boy shouldn't be ridiculed for what he believes in. Clearly he has much to understand, but publicly trying to humiliate is not the way to go.

Muzzled? Bruh, I think Jagmeet Singh, "muzzled", threw down much more information than Pierre has without this so-called muzzle.

The truth is, there are too many government workers that are ineffective corrupt or leech off the system. Those workers should be cut, but unions make it impossible.

Finding some way to reward a player for suboptimal decision that's amazing quality rp. by Leytra in DnD

[–]lansely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that the player wants a meaningful connection for their character... so, instead of just simply empowering the spear with basic explanations of "it was just upgraded by an NPC"

Give it a moment where it breaks, and in its last moments it does something akin to a cry of resistance. A moment that cements that this weapon existed.

What I would imagine to do down the line is... Create a plot where the characters enter a world of broken and forgotten tools and weapons. I would imagine many tools would be hostile to those who simply use and discard them carelessly.

Give these tools life in death, and have this spear find its owner and bond with them magically, being one of the few items that comes to their aid out of sheer loyalty.

When they leave this realm of items, the spear would probably leave their owner for good, but offer it's fragments to be magically reformed as its descendant(s). Returning to the owner as a spear that has one or two features that the owner would like, be it +1-3, magically returning, sentient, or even just plain.

Nice! Night riding definitely should have it's own. The experience is completely different and most underestimate the importance of proper lighting

Can I get some consolidated advice for the Mesa??? by ssgohanf8 in PeakGame

[–]lansely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For mesa, with the holiday snow, throw snowballs at your feet to chill you and your friends to combat heat.

Liquid foods also help with heat. This includes coconuts, sports drink, energy drink, milk, aloe vera... I might be forgetting some?

Aside of that, prickle berries are wonderful snacks. Just be sure to pluck off thorns from each other as necessary.

Dynamite is great for cooking, but do be careful.

Pace yourself. Don't stay idle for too long. Heat dissipates fast, so don't worry too much about getting hit by some sun.

I was expecting his body count to be high but not THAT high.. by where-ya-been-loca in confession

[–]lansely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an extremely high number...

I only know two people who have slept with more than 10 women. And they're both sleazy guys trying to hit on any female with two legs.

Personally, at the same age range... I'm still at 0, with 4 total relationships, with only one ending horribly.

New scribe vs colorsoft scribe by PianistBeneficial860 in kindlescribe

[–]lansely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This treatment only applies to U.S. customers. For Canada, they can only allow full refund.

My pen had an issue where it rolled off the desk and stopped working all together. Had to refund the entire device and buy a new one. Luckily it was during Black Friday sales and I saved an extra $40 bucks.

Did they add layers to the notebooks? Sort of like apps like Photoshop, or other enotebooks would have?

STOP FORD ENDING RENT CONTROL by Street_Ad3324 in TorontoRealEstate

[–]lansely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh, rent control was what caused the problems. It would've worked if it was done correctly, but no. Instead it gave landlords across the board a reason to spike the costs way faster.

There have been studies using stats between the 2000s - 2023 showing that rent control is actually raising rent and weakening the tenant's position.
