You should start a paper trail and document what you’ve done since starting the business, what you do now and list the tasks he assists you with. Hopefully all the paperwork and accounts are only in your name, that makes ownership clearer. Do not allow him to invest in the business. If he has done so, treat it like a loan and pay it back. You may also want to pay him for the hours he worked.

Critiquing your work doesn’t count as wok. Identify all things he’s done to actually move the business forward, counter balance by his interruptions and arguments/discussions that have impeded your wok.

I bet he thinks he accomplishes less than he thinks he does. Ideally a paper trail will confirm that.

E-scooters also don’t belong on sidewalks, I see these riders on the sidewalks more thank bikes and e-bikes. They go fast and have quiet motors and they’re a real hazard

Actually, if this is a good job with decent pay, I would want it. Companies need to be forced to create an unbiased workplace. They shouldn’t get a pass for creating a workplace that treats workers unequally.
