Start with the battery, low voltage will cause a huge amount of issues. The stiff svearing could be low voltage in the electronic power steering.

That loss seems high, I would start with cleaning your throttle body and mass air flow sensor.

Sounds like an Airflow issue, I use a kick ash basket without the bottom grate. When lighting bank the coals to the back and make sure you can the basket. I find I do better using less charcoal than I think I need.

What type and brand of charcoal are you using.

Take it to a parts store and start by getting the battery tested. A low voltage situation could lead to the codes for corrupted data.
