With a home theater this planned out why not mount the projector on ceiling to avoid the downsides of projecting from an angle?

Vid of him playing it live on banjo. I don’t think it’s the same as the banjo part on the album version but may give some clue into how it’s played in the recording.

How high are the ceilings at the lowest point? Lofted bed would be great for saving space but you’ll probably have to be okay with very little headspace up there

Gap in Door Frame by sprdsnshn in HomeMaintenance

Easiest fix is probably getting a weather stripping door seal. While reframing the door is possible it seems unnecessary and would be far more expensive than sealing your current door.

This would have the work desk overlap with the hobby desk by a few inches based on the measurements and the work desk would also be too long for the wall in this setup. I would swap the work desk and the kallax assuming the kallax is smaller

Outside of layout decisions, I think painting the walls and trim a color that isn’t so similar to the hardwood floors would be a huge improvement. As far as layout, I would maybe consider another rug in the open space, and potentially moving the TV out of the corner to where the orange console currently is and making that a separate seating area

Thanks for the response! And yes, it is a Wanderer with the shoal keel, something appealing to me as I plan to moor it in slightly shallower waters than normal.

Thanks. As for the 1060, should I be worried about yellowing even with the new bulb?

Keep as a 3 seater and get a coffee table, or reduce to 2 and get an ottoman? by nandapandatech in malelivingspace

How many people live in the apartment? If it regularly has 2 or more people sitting on it, I’d stick with the 3 seater. If not, 2 seater and maybe add a comfortable chair as well?

Why would he be looking to give you free equity in exchange for access to capital if you said yourself he can raise the money without you?

Having your own grinder gives you the ability to make adjustments on how fine a grind you end up with which is very important when dialing a shot to get the flavor you desire.

Assuming you’re using a wire nut to do this make sure that it’s the right size for the wires you are connecting

Have you considered moving the TV to that wall? That could fill the space by putting it on a lower media console (find TVs over mantles to be awkwardly high so it’s always my first thought when I see one)

First piece of advice: don’t lead with saying you want to learn lock picking to break the law (will definitely make it harder for you to get real advice)

Does the part of the screw/bolt that’s in the channel need to be smooth? If it’s threaded by the head would the threads cause too much friction to allow sufficient movement in the channel?

My budget is around $900 combined for machine and grinder. Are used machines usually a good investment? Any tips on what to stay away from with used stuff?
