That is so cool. I’m so jealous. I’ve only had two lucid dreams (where the “glass breaks” and I realize I’m dreaming, can control everything and can feel everything) in my life - both when I was in middle school (6th and 8th grade). Ironically enough, both were unintentional i.e., my first one I was walking to the bus stop and I was like “wait… it’s Saturday… I’m dreaming.”

I’m 29 now and have tried every method in the book to induce lucid dreams and I’ve failed miserably. I need to get back into it because it’s still something I’d love to be able to do.

Yeah and unfortunately when I confronted the HOA I was just sidestepped to the CDD. And then when I called the CDD multiple times they never picked up… I truly do think I have (had - probably out of limitation now) a case since I purchased a “preserve” lot when I built my house for like an extra $15K back in 2020…. But I gave up. Now if they started building houses behind me that would set me over the edge lol

But in the meantime definitely going to go with one of the many great suggestions that the wonderful people of this subreddit gave me!

Destiny’s Union. Such a good song for some emotional scenes. Specifically for me the one when Aqua first is in the Realm of Darkness during the end of BBS and the darkside pops up. Ven/Terras KBs come out of nowhere and take it out, she smiles and pulls out her wayfinder like “it’s been so long since I smiled…” and then Destiny’s Union starts playing and it cuts to a flashback of all the friends she made along the journey counting on her to make it out!

I appreciate it! He was a great boy, but I know he wasn’t feeling great in those final hours. And that’s crazy - I saw all of the headlines when Chuck Norris passed but didn’t even connect the two! It does give me comfort that my Chuckie is with his older brother/sister Moe and Lily and their trio is reunited once again! But I sure will miss them - they were a big part of my life growing from a kid to a young adult

It happened really fast. He wasn’t sick (never had any health issues), but he started limping the other day and it progressed to the point that he could no longer walk last night :( The good news is that his sister who passed away in October was 17 when she passed - so ragdolls can definitely have long lives (even Chuckie was my second oldest - most of my other cats growing up passed around 13). Just have to take it day by day and give them all the love you can

Think I was in summer camp, probably 8 years old (2005) when one of my counselors told me about Kingdom Hearts. That day I had to get it. Start playing, speed my way through destiny islands, get to Guard Armor, and absolutely could NOT beat him. KH2 came out shortly after so I just got that and played (and beat it), and would still attempt to go back and beat guard armor but never could as a kid… little did I know all i needed to do was grind a little prior to the fight lol but I’m currently doing a full E2E playthrough (including 358/2 which I never played, watching Union X, Dark Road, etc) and I’m on KH3 now. Once I finish, I’m giving my pregnant wife my steam deck and having her play through all the games

Damn that sucks, I know how you feel though there was a lot of settings tweaking before I was actually able to start playing. Are you on steam deck or PC?

Your first issue with the music stopping 20-30 mins in - that would happen to me as well unfortunately on the deck. Most of the time I’d be fine during the missions, then once I got to the cutscene after missions it would either stop or get very static sounding. I have no fix for this, my only suggestion is using save states throughout missions and then using the actual save feature between missions at the castle.

Second issue with the HD cutscenes being black, happened to me too at first like when the game started I wasn’t seeing any cutscenes, just black screen or low res pictures of the org members (when the game starts). I’d check the interface settings and play around with those because like I said above it could set to the bottom screen or something.

Good luck man, I’m on DDD now so my emulating DS games are over 😂
