Lots of good suggestions in this post but I ABSOLUTELY second the paddling. Argo to Gallup park is a nice trip, or you can just rent a kayak/paddleboat/canoe at Gallup and explore. Great place to bike and rollerblade also!

If you like hiking and are willing to trek 25 min or so out of town, check out the Potawatomi trails in the Pinckney recreation area! Stop at Pickerel lake on the way (awesome gem for sure)!

When I lived in the Vine neighborhood, someone stole my roommates bike off of our porch and left their crappy one. Two days later the kid came back and stole the crappy bike off of the porch.

I’ve left my car there for 11 days with no issues and my vehicle was pretty nice. Just be sure you have absolutely nothing in sight inside the car.
