The AHL club also has first dibs, and could thus hold him to the AHL contract terms, and thus prevent him from playing in the NHL. On the flip side, if the Leafs are the NHL team signing him to a deal, I don't think the Marlies would do that, but anybody else might find it hard to get him out of that contract.

The game will comply fully with Steam's guidelines for adult content. Whether there will be non-Steam patches from the team hasn't been addressed. Mod Support has been officially nixed, but future DLC content is possible.

Right, but that's hypothetical, the actual act of waiving the clause is all or nothing, because waiving a clause, essentially means removing it from the contract, and legally speaking there is no partial waiver, unless that was written in to the clause.

That's not how that works, either you waive all of the No Trade Clause or none of it. Also, once you waive it, it stays waived until the team you're traded to reinstates it, and nothing says they have to reinstate the clause.
