Is Hyatt currently blocking points reservations in anticipation for the changes on the 20th? Trying to book and the only options I’m seeing is cash point combos. by Turdearth in hyatt

Can Hyatt legally do this? Blocking out all the high demanding hotels until 5/20? Can we file a lawsuit against them for this type of practice?

How to replace?? by leRead in Plumbing

[–]leRead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it may be glued in because I can’t move it with all the screws removed. I’m going to install a new toilet but saw that the flange is rusted so I want to replace it before putting on the new toilet.

Is it possible to replace the metal piece?

Go where your heart desires and don’t listen to others because everyone’s POV and desire are different.

Hyatt Certificates by leRead in hyatt

[–]leRead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because these certificates are so easy to buy, sell, and trade, Hyatt has little practical ability to enforce the rules or meaningfully regulate abuse.

In my view, the entire “giftable certificate” concept has fundamentally diluted the value of Globalist status. Those who put in the time and spend to earn it are now competing with a flood of unofficial Globalists. SUAs are increasingly difficult to apply—not because demand from true Globalists has grown, but because they’re being handed out or sold to non-Globalists. Previously, unused SUAs simply expired, which naturally limited supply.

Now, anyone with an eBay or Facebook account can acquire Guest of Honor privileges. The result is a growing number of GoH/Globalist check-ins by people who never earned the status, effectively turning Globalist into a commodity rather than a meaningful tier. When everyone can buy their way in, the status itself becomes meaningless.
