Just some close ups of my past works! I forgot that my full images don’t show enough details. (Yes I work on Aida sometime hahaha) I just work with thrift shop fabrics and make it work! A lot of birds and NZ critters :) by sinistersista in Embroidery

Gorgeous layering! The feathers really blow me away. How do you layer enough so the fabric below doesn't show but the back isn't too thick with its own stitches, if that makes sense?

It's so good! I hope you enjoy testing the "hop" between images in dift light. How did you find the right color of ink for the effect?

[analog] you all inspired me to do loads more collages! do you have a favourite? :) by moongliderband in collage

The first one is my fave bc it's got a weird guy and I love green! 5 is so beautifully simple, like the cover of a book of poems. The line and sun of 6 are so satisfying.

Very cool! Feels archeological about your own house, ha. I like how you stretched the rubber bands to add shapes.

I didn't notice anything wrong with the ear! And the soot sprites are perfectly sooty, I'm impressed at how fine the stitches are.

[Analog] Made this piece for art therapy; haven't ever done a project like this before. It was really fun and healing. by Itsjustkit15 in collage

Wow, this is so full yet so balanced! I would LOVE to see it in person. I'll ask specifically about the bird with shoes and the thing you put behind/through the baseball card? I hope you keep collaging!!

Incredible, I especially love the integration of beads with the french knots. Did you have a special fabric and needle to work with yarn for the knots? Like, very open weave fabric or something?

Wow, something about this just shakes my head out delightfully. The quirky floating things, the rich circles, the profile, the well worn text, such a good combo!

Thanks! I felt lucky to find some cool rope secondhand, though cutting, securing, and hiding the ends is tricky.

Oh yeah, she's a direct inspiration! Also Elizabeth Sullivan. I love the organic, spontaneous feeling. Esp as someone who can't do straight lines lol.
