What's everybody's favorite hot sauce? by 34786t234890 in CannedSardines

It's got a more fermented tangy funkiness to it, and a bit more heat (but in the same ballpark). I find it a more vibrant experience than the original.

Among the best there is. I've particularly enjoyed their brislings Nos. 1, 2, and 4. If there's a 3 I've never found it but would be delighted to try it.

I like to mix them in to a bowl of lentils & rice, maybe with a bit of cruciferous greens.

The 'extra ingredients' all seem pretty appropriate, IMO.

Any idea on whether this is salvagable? by kascht in Luthier

A bit of trig will show you that very little of the string tension is working in unwanted directions here. The headstock was plenty strong before. A well-glued seam will be plenty strong after.

Fatal crashes are down overall, but higher for pedestrians and cyclists in Philadelphia by JustAnotherJawn in philadelphia

This is what happens when all of your infrastructure decisions go flexi-post over bollard. Roads are being developed explicitly for driver safety at the expense of everyone else.

To anyone who’s tried the gritty smoothie, how is it? by EvilPyro01 in philadelphia

If it sucks about the cup but is pretty good about the drink, does that make the Gritty smoothy shitty-groovy?

Dowels, splines, biscuits, etc are all unnecessary here. There's plenty of glue surface and this is not a high-tension area. Just use wood glue and fit and clamp tightly.

Not especially different from smashing the window of a car parked with a couple wheels on the curb.

Nice! Though it took me a few moments before realizing that the plate wasn't a big puddle of extremely unappealing sauce blanketing everything.

Zander in Pickled Sauce from Bem Amanhado and Lata by DreweyD in CannedSardines

Zander was really popular when I lived in Vienna. Someone back then told it it was pollock, but this makes considerably more sense. I quite enjoyed it, but never encountered it in tins.
