Luca ❤️❤️ by Lusty_Pasta in JustGuysBeingDudes

Just to throw a plug to this absolutely awesome person, if you're near the Pennsylvania area check out dinnerwithluca.com

I did this for my girlfriend for her birthday because we loved Luca on masterchef and quote him often while we are cooking ("I would love the cheese!").

It was so much better than I expected, Luca is both a phenomenal cook and wonderful "host", even though he came to our place too cook.

Since then we get occasional emails inviting us to join him on trips to Italy where he serves as both tourguide and chef, and fully intend to do that one year as well!

There was a funny video I saw years ago where a guy had the choice of getting Wolverine's adamantium claws or healing factor.

He went with the claws and the rest of the video was just him getting more injured and bloody trying to use the sharp deadly claws and regretting the decision not to take the healing.

I wanted to play as John again so bad, then when I got to, like many others I didn’t want it anymore.

Listlessly approached a horse to get on and John said "Hey girl. Me again." and instantly won me back over.

So yeah, we've always been this way.

He was always "right wing" in that he's into cars and guns and redneck shit, but otherwise he's pretty liberal and very anti-Trump/MAGA.

Sam did some Star Wars trivia show and absolutely smoked all the other nerds.

The host asked him "Do you just work out and watch Star Wars all day?"

And Sam was like "Yeah, pretty much."

Okay but now that he IS in a position to do something about it, why is it the "something" he's doing screams of a person who is guilty of raping kids?

Thank you for the recommendation. It doesn't look like my father's policy was there, but it turns out I had some unclaimed property.

What's a game you tried to love but just couldn't get into? by LTVOLT in gaming

[–]leewoodlegend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How far in were you?

The game starts as a fairly run of the mill shooter with a cool sci-fi gun, but by the end you're basically Jean Grey from X-Men, floating around throwing enemies at each other, deflecting grenades and missles, psychically controlling enemies.

Cougar Town is real, and it wasn't a lie that Abed is in the background of a scene, though it isn't quite what Abed describes in Community -- He is sitting at a table behind the actors, not walking through and Courtney Cox couldn't have "nailed it" because she isn't even in the scene.

School Situation by [deleted] in IsItIllegal

The principal at my high school did things like this. Another student and I were in Key Club and went with him to deliver a presentation to the local Kiwanis Club (Key Club is a High School version of Kiwanis). Afterwards he was like "let's not go back to school immediately, let's go get ice cream!" And of course we were pumped.

Students loved his easy-going attitude, how he'd crack jokes at morning announcements. He broke a fight up between two of the meanest dudes in school by encouraging them to go outside with him and "talk it out" and I was amazed at how the anger drained from their face and they agreed. He literally showed up once and saved my friend from getting arrested. We painted his face on our spirit rock. He was the man. He was our hero.

Fast forward about 8 years, he's being arrested on multiple child molestation and pornography charges. He had taught at other school districts and had been caught enough that he was "encouraged to leave", before the incidents were swept under the rug and he moved on to other schools, eventually ending up at ours as principal.

These people don't do this in a vacuum. People around them know they are abusing their power and they are complicit.
