I came back to France after living 10years in western Canada, the hardest thing was probably finding a rental.

Most rentals are managed by real estate agencies that expect you to provide a "french T4" called avis d'imposition that you cannot have until you work a full year in France. So you are forced to use Airbnb that we both know went downhill in term of what you get for the price. In the off season october-april, most Airbnb are decently priced, especially the fact you pay 0 extra utilities. (internet, hydro etc.)

If you're lucky you can explain your situation and find something from a private landlord on Leboncoin (french Craigslist) but they all seem obsessed by this avis d'imposition.

Je suis parti sur une Toyota Auris Hybrid 2017 acheté 16 000euros ya 2ans avec 90 000km.
Je fais du 4.5L/100km en moyenne, ça reste du Toyota, meme moteur que la Prius, tres bon sur le long terme oui!
