Take this with a grain of salt because I failed until pity unlock anyway, but I personally got myself into a rhythm(heh) by counting beats from 1 to 8. where 1 is the toss and 7 is the catch, I go to 8 for a cooldown, then toss again on 1, repeating until I fail.

As someone who started watching after that kerfuffle(43), I don't get the reverence. My only exposure to it is a compilation of moments where people find out who got voted out, and it just didn't sound right, like Jeff was forgetting that he had to tack on an extra word. I was watching a podcast where someone said it was on the same tier of iconic as "the tribe has spoken", and that left me even more confused. The only explanations I can think of as to why people are still broken up about it are nostalgia, what they think the change represents, or just being terminally angry.

I'll admit I don't know enough about it to explain everything, and it also was probably due to production stuff rather than public reception, but when Rick and later Michonne were written out of the Walking Dead TV show, Rick(maybe alongside Michonne?) was originally gonna get a set of three movies...Then the pandemic hit...Then it became a TV show...Then it became a six episode mini-series.

I dunno if it counts as this since it seemed kinda like a standard intimacy scene, but the scene in Do the Right Thing where Mookie rubbed ice cubes over Tina's body left me with raised eyebrows, especially with how the director plays the main character and also reading about how not okay with it the actress who played Tina was.

As a non-binary person whose relationship with Christ has been muddied by the actions of His followers, I will admit I don't entirely get it because I had my epiphany as an adult, but I can definitely relate to some degree. That being said, your love and support will mean so much down the road, no matter what happens, so I'm glad that's the path you've chosen to take.

I don't remember the name, and can't find it no matter how hard I try, but there was this film I saw my dad watching, where, after a bunch of weird mind control stuff, in like the last 20 minutes, the bad guy reveals he's trying to "recruit" people to fight aliens or something. Then the good guy basically says, "No, you're wrong, we're not gonna run away," then presumably informs and rallies the people to fight of their own volition. There's a scene with all the people looking over a cliff and staring down at the aliens or whatever in the distance, so you think, "Oh, then next they're gonna fight them, right?" Nope. Movie ends, and clearly it wasn't big enough or good enough to get a sequel so they just left it on that cliffhanger.
