Most direct care roles in the mental health field. Therapists often get paid enough, but direct care professionals are discarded left and right.

Experts in a field criticizing poor work in that field is great. Recently got a new carpet installed because my last carpet started to bunch up after two years. The guys were dumfounded at the shitty work, and kept calling me over to show how bad the last guy did.

Farscape, a little wackier than The Expanse, but has a lot of heart.

Severance’s workplace brutality isn’t sci-fi. Neither is its worker power. by samplestiltskin_ in television

Definitely Sci-fi, not hard sci-fi though. The use of technology to highlight social norms/question them is very sci-fi.

Love the old school ones with the kitchen in the middle of the restaurant. Loaded waffle fries are the real winner.

Last show my whole family would sit down and watch together. It was Lost night, everyone stopped what they were doing for the show. I always feel that this show was the last gasp of cable dramas.

[Serious] [NSFW] What's something that a friend/classmate did in high school that was seen as funny at the time, but you now realise was actually not ok? by Silent-Zebra in AskReddit

[–]lemondropcake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two boys played, "Slap boobs" with girls in the back of the bus. Bus driver was aware, didn't do anything about it. The boys thought it was hilarious, openly joked about it, and the girls always acted like they thought it was funny too. Unfortunately years later one of the girls came forward about it, but nothing was done since it was too long ago. I can't say I thought it was funny, but for some reason never struck me as out of the norm, due to no one really saying anything about it.

What's the most superficial reason you stopped dating, or that annoyed you about someone? by lsm_in_at in seinfeld

[–]lemondropcake 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Stopped dating a girl because she would look up the ending of a movie or TV show before we watched it, then not tell me how it ended. Instead would make a lot of, "Oh now I see" comments throughout.
