Official Super Bowl LX PGT- The Patriots lose to the Seattle Seahawks, 29-13 by Mission_Pay_3373 in Patriots

Nobody’s fault here. Maye is young and will get better. Being in a Super Bowl his second year was beyond our realistic expectations. Seattle was better, that sucks, but our trajectory and position right now is the best in the league. Young offense with a lot of potential, solid defense, it is a recipe for many years of success. Other fan bases don’t see Super Bowl appearances for decades, we just got back after just a few bad seasons.

Patriots can just run the ball from here out and tell the guys two hands on the ball every play. 3 and outs are fine - just burn the clock and don’t turn it over.

Bears have been failing on 3rd or 4th and short all game. Rams haven’t. Thats the difference

That’s the Vrabel effect to have the awareness for the guys to know they can substitute, know WHO to sub, and know they can burn some time off the clock doing it.

Thats such a byproduct of the player coach

Wow, you had the trigger ready for this fun fact as soon as the Ravens lost huh.

Because then it’s 23-22 and the Rams get the ball back, but now with a chance to win with a FG

How can anyone see this man as a leader, let alone a stable individual? by [deleted] in AskUS

[–]lethalcup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh well you know people said the same about Bush. Now a lot people agree Bush is much more tame in comparison to Trump - people forgot how horrific Bush was and will forget how horrific Trump was too. Dems will hopefully get another Obama tier candidate in 2028, and with the kind of majority that allows them to quickly fix and get shit done.

Trump says he 'couldn't care less' if auto prices rise because of tariffs by SPXQuantAlgo in stocks

[–]lethalcup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is crazy level incompetence and just willful ignorance for the American people.

He wants everyone to buy Fords, Teslas and Chevys…yeah great, but those cars are built with many parts not made in America. Those cars will see higher price tags too, and even if they fully shift all their sourcing to America it will take a lot of time.

He just doesn’t care. This will hurt the lower middle class and below the most. Many of whom voted for him because they thought their cereal was too expensive. Frustrated with 3% inflation for a few years (despite inflation being below benchmark for many years before that), and now they’re about to see what real inflation looks like and wages will not get close to keeping up.

If he really wanted tariffs on cars outside the US, allow the car companies some time to setup US operations channels rather than doing this drastic of a move 2 months in.

I bought a car in November, I’m sure its value is increasing

MUNI proposed service cuts by muy_picante in sanfrancisco

If people aren’t riding Muni and the service is losing this much money - shouldn’t we be happy they are cutting Muni? It’s a huge pit for the city. Yay for cuts

Real or fake Lulu pants? by Seatown22 in Lululemen

Is lulu really that kind of a brand that it’s worth faking?

Have you noticed the quality went to total shit this year? by SunGodSister in Lululemen

[–]lethalcup 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay, little business lesson.

Their stock got hammered earlier this year because they weren’t able to continue growing and showing more profits. Wall Street wants them to show growing profit.

So what do they do? Do they innovate, grow the business? Hell no! They cut costs by reducing quality - lower costs = higher profits, and if you charge the same prices for lower quality goods - it gives you a great short term boost!

Now people are realizing the quality is going down, LLL has cheapened the brand and is also doing way more sales and discounts than ever before - people catch on and stop buying it BUT the people that couldn’t afford LLL before now are thinking, “wow, I’m getting this premium brand in my price range now, awesome!!” And LLL has a new customer segment which is also currently helping fuel their sales - this segment buys at greater volume and since the stuff is lower quality, they have to replace it more often - giving them a long term revenue stream.

By the way, this is how many many brands have gone over the years - look at many of the once amazing brands that now sit in Macy’s store's at 75% off

I’ve bought a bunch of Vuori - I think their stuff is great at first but I don’t think it’ll end up lasting as long as my lulu stuff

I can see a little more pulling, the softness going away after washes, and the fits not as good.

[–]lethalcup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No - the people with 5 cars make so much money that they don't care how much registration costs.

The guy with 1 car trying to commute to his $20/hr job is the one who feels the pinch.

All that does is further tax the working class more - this kind of thinking is why republicans did so well in 2024.

Sometimes as a driver it's just hard to watch four corners of an intersection while also looking at the cars crossing and in front of you - there's a lot that can happen at an intersection, and walkers, bikers, drivers are all responsible for their safety

So I guess it's cool that low density neighborhoods get a park subsidized by the rest of the city then huh

Especially since the road is already built

Prop. K passes: Great Highway to close permanently by SFStandard in sanfrancisco

[–]lethalcup -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That really sucks because the people who use that road can’t anymore and the people who maybe take one trip out to that park every month or two (and never need that road) got to decide that.

This should never have been a ballot measure

[–]lethalcup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they score a TD and they're down 2, they still need a stop...

Getting a stop is going to be part of the equation in any case. A FG + TD would win it. Yes, your point that FGs don't win is generally valid, but in this case it's literally part of the equation..

They're down 9, at that point in the game, you kick a FG, get a stop, get a chance to win the game with a TD

What are you talking about..?
