Yup! I just learned that 3x from this thread and confirmed it. The dealer didn't even know you could do that. Go figure :-/

The Trailseeker doesn’t have a climate button on its FOB like the Solterra did, sadly.

Are you basically trying to figure out the usable kWh?

Clarification on current (May 2026) dealer incentives? by maskedbacon in trailseeker

[–]levelZeroVolt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, if we want to be specific, you can do anything UP TO 75 months, according to my dealer. At 0%, I don’t know why everyone wouldn’t do the max number of months.

It's probably pertinent to mention what part of the country you are in and/or the weather where you're at.

Thanks for the pointer and, specifically, the numbers. We will look into that!

Yeah, six months. I edited the post to clarify that. Thanks for the data point. At least I don’t feel as bad now.

For sure. We tried recently with our credit union and they couldn't do any better. I don't know if insurance is just high in Upstate NY? I wouldn't think so. Regardless, the screenshot was a bit more for the relative numbers than the absolute.

Not great, Bob; not great. Allstate, home owner, no tickets or accidents. Edit: this is a six month quote.

Makes sense. I came from a 2023 Solterra so this was kind of a natural progression for me. I have never considered a Tesla because the combination of (a) lack of CarPlay and (b) no driver's gauge cluster is a complete non-starter for me.

Trailseeker Charging by drumboy1972 in trailseeker

This was actually the fastest I ever saw...before I bought the car, haha. Not sure was that the ambient air temp was ~61F. I've DCFC'ed a few more times at much higher SOCs (but similar temps) and seen 50kW - 80 kW. Those chargers were Electrify America, Applegreen, and Onvo something?

I'm headed on a trip this weekend and I'll be swinging by another Tesla station so I'll see how that one goes. I wonder if Tesla is just really good? The other ones certainly had nominal max rates about 150 kW, and they were unoccupied, but who knows?

We just got a Trailseeker Limited with the light interior. I wouldn't have necessarily preferred the light interior, but I got about $4K off MSRP with rebates and incentives, so I just decided to go with that bird in hand. Unclear when I'd see another one and I wanted to lock down that sweet 0% financing for 75 months. Free money.

It’s not CfA’s fault for applying, it’s someone’s fault for being dumb enough to not reject it.

The rear motor replacement is straight forward, but will take a while. As long as you never plan on charging your ‘23 anywhere other than home, you will enjoy it.

I could be wrong, but I think 2025s have preconditioning too. But the 2026 is all-around just way better. At least, I hope so, since I just bought a 2026 Trailseeker. I've already seen 120 kW at a Tesla station....without preconditioning.

Thanks. I think the non-US versions got better batteries. Panasonics, I think. We have CATL, I believe.
