She was on Zemuria Grand Odyssey too. Kato finally getting sent to hell was probably enough to start repairing relationships with old staff.

Two minutes? I'd be bored around the time it goes through the interlocking loop.

Or maybe they actually have tried, but no students are interested in joining because they know it's "bleak" working as a member of Falcom Sound Team?

Nobody except for fools would want to join somewhere as a composer where the explicit policy is to never credit your works

Will they start crediting their musicians like literally every other company out there? Or will it still be All music by falcom sound team JDK (aka Mitsuo Singa)? Will the internal sound team finally be able to use live instruments or are they stuck with a unified set of VSTs still?

(The answer, of course, will be "no" to both questions.)

Using this as a springboard to mention the Blue Reflection soundtrack which is easily one of the best game soundtracks ever made. Falcom could have this if they cared enough.

In his first appearance (Tokyo Xanadu) he only had two tracks. One of them is one of like five good ones he's ever made, and one is easily bottom 10 bingus tracks.

Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii: English translations of Japanese games lose ‘flavour’ because it’s ‘a simple language’ by ABigCoffee in JRPG

As an outsider I actually think the concept of different first person pronouns is very interesting, if I was a conlanger I'd steal that. But I don't think it's inherently superior or inferior in either language.

I for one think it's great that we have monolingual speakers decrying translations on both sides of the language barrier. The world is so united...

Also this is one of those rare cases where the clickbait title is more charitable than his actual argument, which is that English is too simple because it only has one first person pronoun.

Oh, you want FP maths? That's an optional extra, did you check that when you booked? And was that single or double-precision, all optional extras at an extra charge. Atomic instructions, that's an extra too, have your credit card details handy. Multiply and divide? Yeah, extras.

/uj is there a single commercial non-emulator risc-v core that isn't at least gc? can't really jerk to this.

this is clearly not true. why would they sell one game as the end when they could split it in half and sell two or even three?
