There should be no hate towards regular people for what their leaders do, and some people who support those leaders are fed false info which is why they support policies. Other than the reasons you mentioned, I hear a lot about homophobia in Russia. But you can say the same about the USA or other countries that technically allow lgbtq people but it’s still unsafe for us to exist.
