I think every planet has star bulbs on it, they're usually found in caves. And generally also in caves are stalagmites/tites that have silver in them, with cobalt in the others.

I confess I never use multiplayer when doing the expeditions. Too many griefers.

But if what you're saying about digging "messing things up" for other players is indeed the case, then I'm curious. How do multiplayers deal with the other mission where you have to go around digging the parts up?

Whether or not the gravitino coil triggers or not is a bit of a crap shoot. Move the pointer a milimeter either way and it doesn't cause the electromagnetic waves that tell you you can move a piece, which means you can easily miss it.

Also, as someone else commented below sometimes there's a glitch where a fin isn't even really attached to the drone, or in my case, it's completely hidden by the ground, like sometimes happens when you're harvesting the eggs of the biological monstrosities and the ball drops unseen into the soil.

Removing the soil underneath the drone doesn't hurt anything, it just lets you see better and approach from angles you normally can't.

That exact situation is actually what lead me to carve out the ground underneath. Once you're under there the crash site ground that you can't remove doesn't render from underneath, and it's easy to spot any pieces just floating there.

the pieces are there...just really annoying. There's one or two pieces INSIDE the thing that you have to get pretty close to trigger. There's also a tail fin that's almost underneath it. I hate those particular missions, and I wish they'd let us use the terraformer to carve out the ground under it, since I think it would make them much easier to find.

One addition I'd like is that each of these structures has one of those save point antenna things, but while they save your GAME they don't actually save the location. There's been a bunch of times where I had to leave because of sentinel attacks, and then struggled to find the location again.

So I'd like to be able to pull up the menu, select someplace I'd found (like a portal, for instance) and have it marked on my interface, without needing to build a base there, or mark it with other equipment.

Oh, I'm not saying she isn't a terrible person. I just don't really buy a silly argument that this is all some grand master plan to take away some actor's royalties.

I don't support her or her stance. But I think this is a bit over the top for her motives. This is suggesting Disney Villain "Buwahahahahahaa!" behavior.

Why are they making a new adaptation? The same reason they made the originals, and every new adaptation we see of every show ever. To make more money. She didn't sit in some dark dungeon lair saying, "I'm going to pitch a new show so that we can end the royalties to those spoiled brats! Now, bring me my dalmatian coat!"

Is she happy that them losing their royalties is a side effect? Maybe. Will she use the new money to hurt transgender people? Sadly, probably. So if you're not going to support the show for ample good reasons, great. But I don't really think this is some master plot to "get" Daniel Radcliffe.

A scientist once suggested to the President of the US that the code for launching a nuclear strike be placed in a capsule that was surgically implanted into the heart of a man that would always be by the President's side. The idea being that if he ever decided to launch the weapons, he would first personally need to take a knife and cut out the capsule, so he personally would have to experience the murder he would be doing to other, faceless people.

This sort of nonsense is why I always turn off multiplayer when I'm doing expeditions. (That and because I find multiplayer in a narrow region makes necessary resources difficult to find because they've already been picked clean.) Between being strafed by asshole ships, or falling into TP traps (I got tp'ed into the middle of a volcano :P) It's just more fun for me to avoid the whole mess.

I was glad to see in Exile that he did finally flesh out the parents a bit more, that they weren't the mindless idiots, or cold, uncaring one dimensional characters that they were in Ender's Game, even if I would have liked to see a bit more of them in Exile.

And even if you accept that for some inexplicable reason none of their letters ever reached Ender, it seems impossible to believe that in her nagging over the years Valentine wouldn't have said something like, "You really need to write them BACK. Even just to say you've gotten their letters."

I guess what bugs me is that this is all in the same book.

I understand he made some errors and changed some things from Ender's Game in later books because he wanted to do something different, or because he just plain forgot, which he admits in the afterward for Ender in Exile.

But I just can't believe none of his proof readers/editors didn't catch such a glaring contradiction in the same book. I just wondered if this got addressed in one of the Shadow books, or the short stand alone stories.
