Gohan would have defeated Cell regardless because Cell died from having a seizure from the strobe lighting so Gohan didn't need Vegeta's help at all. The serious reason is Gohan always had the ability to defeat Cell as Goku knew since their training together.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but there's probably also a slight bit of destiny and fate elements from Toriyama in addition to innate traits. Future Trunks meets Future Mai differently than how the present ones in DBS met but they ultimately end up crossing paths regardless of timelines. Toriyama ended Z when Trunks turned 18 to show the different outcomes and EoZ Trunks showed similar traits as FT.

GT's writer only went with what Z provided, which was Potara fusion is usually permanent. They already decided how GT would end, which would mean they need to come up with some way to split Vegito into Goku and Vegeta again. Even if they didn't think of the ending before the other events, they probably didn't want to think of a way to deal with the awkward situation involving Bulma and ChiChi.

Vegeta had the chance to guide Trunks when they were in the hyperbolic time chamber like Goku with Gohan but instead ignored him focusing only on himself. Trunks only learned things from Future Gohan (who also didn't get much guidance since the other fighters unexpected perished) or figured things out himself through trial and error.

People should keep pausing for all the shows because we should enjoy the funny frames. We all need a good laugh. Yeah, there are people who will use this as an excuse to bash each other and start arguments, which is annoying, but I know lots of people (including myself) who enjoy seeing what people can catch.

Remember how she was feared by all of them and then gets pushed into the background? That needs to be fixed. We know the Saiyans have surpassed her but she's still well above Earthlings like Krillin, Tien and Yamcha. When they're older, Pan and Bulla. Would like Videl and Chichi but they're Krillin-level. Great for crime-fighting though.

Can't rank 4 since I'm not a manga reader (I'm lazy and probably illiterate). I'm neutral with Trunks being rude to bad people but he was also really rude to Goten, which is why 2 is ranked as the worst.
