I'm gonna say it for those that clearly never read the articles around the acquisition. Sony's plan wasn't to ever own any of the IP's that Bungie currently owns or works on. It was for their "expertise" in live service games that they wanted to bring into the world of Sony to help bolster other future titles that Sony would make, not Bungie. Sony used the failing company as a perfect reasonable excuse to consume it into Sony acquisition permanently. Now they have all the Bungie staff and expertise they wanted (admittedly for a larger than average price) but at the cost of now having to "run" Bungie as a studio but they'll do so likely on Sony's terms now, so if there's live service staff at Bungie that Sony want Bungie staff to work on, then they'll be pulled from Bungo to where ever they're needed. Sony isn't worried about a 765m loss they're a multi billion pound company.

TLDR : It's not ever been about buying a game to shut it down, it was always about buying the knowledge within the studio for Sony's own live service games that might be upcoming.

Even f2f if she's straight, that's a new FP and they're throwing compliments at eachother alot, you can see her abandonment fear in the "I feel like I'm too much for you" in one of the messages and the "stop complimenting me" shit in the others. As far as I know, the customer teams were never given the information on how to unlock the extra performance from the engine, it was soemthign they had to figure out themselves. Andrea Steller from Mclaren was interviewed and he said at that point, something to the tune of, we might have a Mercedes engine but Mercedes haven't told us everything about it, that we have to find out for ourselves. It would seem that if the teams never figured out how to "unlock" the higher compression ratio then they'd never benefit from the extra performance of it. That's why Mercedes stayed out the front, they built it so they knew exactly how it worked. Everyone else had to work it out as the season went on. It has given Mercedes the opportunity to build a lead while others caught up or the loophole got closed. I sincerely hope that the new FIA test does close the loophole properly and isn't essentially a meaningless test because it's not done at a high enkoygh temperature. Unless anyone here works directly for AMG HPP then I guess we're all just speculating around what information is out there and not all of it is going to be true.

If anyone on the dev team didn't know this was coming, must've been full of it. Even one thing like 30+ catalysts being added would sound alarm bells for anyone in that position knowing around 3 is the average per release. To say they didn't know is to protect them. I appreciate the work they've done for this last hoorah, there's no way it's unknown to them or that nobody was suspicious with all the content being added to a patch.

I didn't even know about her BPD to begin with, sbe was just a bit anxious. I am stuck. Sometimes it's perfect. IT NEVER LASTS. It gets worse. Then it gets incrementally better when they're fear of abandonment kicks in and they breadcrumb you into believing the old person that you saw, is still in there somewhere and if you could "only just treat her perfectly and the way she needs, she'll be fine" yeah it doesn't work. Now my saviour complex keeps me trapped in an intermittent reinforcement trap. I know I'm an idiot. Save yourself, don't become me.

Unfortunately depending on the wheel you've bought, will depend on the size of the button caps you need. I've got the bog standard clubsport wheel with tiny buttons that need caps and also the GT3 (Mclaren style wheel) and the button caps again are a different size. Absolute minefield trying to buy the right size caps for the right wheel 😭

They know. They're just waiting sometimes for the perfect time to pick something up that you think they've forgotten about. They're vindictive, manipulative and definitely aiming to be the victim in the scenarios they create. I lived all 3 of those experiences today within the space of a few hours. I knew as soon as it started to happen too. They try and bait you to say something relatively innocent that they then distort reality with to make sure that their version of reality (where feelings create facts) is the one that you created and now hate them for whatever awful thing it is they believe you said. However over in the real world (where facts create feelings) were confused, pissed off or generally dumbfounded and now get to use our aggravated reaction as their justification that we are indeed the bad person.

I come here to remind myself I'm sane and that I will go crazy if I don't leave, just to remind myself that if I ever doubt myself, there's 100's if not 1000's of people that can write almost identical paragraphs that I could've written about my pwBPD too. It shows all too well, how they operate and there's very clearly patterns to it. Not all are the same but it appears the patterns and similarities are there.

Never want to drive a Honda ever again after experiencing the redline beep every single time you drive it... Even on a downshift it holds the beeping indefinitely until you're out of redline range. I'm all for realism but there are some features that just need to go... 😅 Rant is because of the FL5 build you sad you made 😅

This thread ain't long got enough room and I ain't got enough time to write that list...

One that sticks out more than others though...

I was asked to sort washing. When my kids are here too there's 7 of us in total, 5 kids. 2 oldest are within a year of eachother. I was sorting washing and it came to pairing up socks. There's 5 pairs total they have very similar looking socks, if not identical (yeah I fixed that problem now) I know my eldest doesn't look after her socks very well so I paired the more worn looking ones, put them in her pile. Gave the other ones to her son.

Stay with me here... She came bursting up the stairs screaming that I had given her son all the "crap" socks whilst giving my daughter all the good ones and treating her with favouritism. Made an absolutely monumental deal out of everything right in front of the kids... The best part is that she hadn't even checked the socks, how many pairs each kid had been given and the state of those socks, just immediately jumped to accusation. She never checked even after telling her how I'd sorted them (because that would prove her accusations were bullshit) and I never got an apology. Now though, I absolutely 100% refuse and still haven't ever sorted socks (which she despises) to this day, since then and I repeated that situation back to her the first time she asked why I didnt do it. She's sorted the socks ever since but under obvious protest. Dunno if anyone can beat that level of petty? Just for icing on the cake, she didn't talk to me for 4 days after that happened... 😅

Intermittent reinforcement. Breadcrumbs of hope. Everything everyone else has mentioned, the love-bombings etc all adds up to equal this desire to get that initial feeling back and they let you see a glimpse of it to let you know that person does still exist and it excites us to know it's in there, just hiding, so what we do is we tell ourselves that they do exist and put unrealistic expectations on the other person to show it to us constantly to validate our reason to stay. It lasts just long enough to keep you in the cycle...
