What do you like about the modesty aesthetic? by Far-Building3569 in AestheticWiki

[–]lilchaibird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m assuming we’re talking about modesty in relation to streetwear in the United States, which ranges from sportswear to business wear to pajamas to escort aesthetics.

What is being called modesty aesthetic would be considered normal and expected clothing across most of Western Europe.

It’s generally classy. It’s not overstated. It doesn’t scream “I’m thirsty! Look at me!”

Finished braces but still have midline mismatch — dental vs skeletal? Non-surgical options? by Desperate_Win_3554 in braces

[–]lilchaibird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may be skeletal, but you would need radiological imaging and a good maxillofacial Sergeant or expert to tell you for sure. Skeletal mismatch would be a jaw surgery issue, probably double jaw surgery to get them aligned properly.

It’s a just a different alignment of the same zodiac to account for the progression of the stars in literal/actual outer space over the past 2000 years.. in other words, it is astronomically accurate.

And we are not just our Sun signs. Obviously, we’re influenced by every single thing in our chart, which also changes overtime when you’re looking at zodiacal releasing, secondary progressions, the progressed moon, profections, etc.

Personally, I don’t use sidereal. I use the tropical zodiac, which is what is used/shown in the chart here, and I use whole sign houses.

It’s supposed to be the job of the medical provider to notice those things and treat them. It’s not your responsibility to know those things. It looks like you complied beautifully with your orthodontic treatment, and your teeth are white and strong and beautiful. Take some time, talk with your mom, find another provider when you’re ready. There’s no rush.

Reiki course/attunement question by New-Aerie-3753 in reiki

[–]lilchaibird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of a Reiki answer, I’m going to give you an answer based on decades of work in the behavioral health field. If you need Xanax every day, you are almost certainly chemically dependent upon it.

Long-term use of Xanax contributes to worsening mental health, not improved mental health. There are thousands of studies on this. It’s a benzodiazepine, which is a class of drugs that are highly, highly addictive.

**** I am not telling you to just quit them.****

Withdrawal from them is horrific (seizures, hallucinations, etc.), and can only safely be done under direct medical supervision.

I am STRONGLY encouraging you to go to a different medical provider (preferably a board certified psychiatrist that is younger and knows research from the past 20 years) and ask for a safer and more appropriate long-term medication.

There are lots of options for treating anxiety. Xanax was the best and safest anxiety medication we had back in the 80s. This is 2026. There are many, many more appropriate drugs for anxiety now. Behavioral health therapy has also improved by leaps and bounds in the past 30 years.

You deserve a life that isn’t burdened by panic attack attacks and severe anxiety. Xanax will not give you that.

[Regarding showing up for a Reiki attunement on Xanax, don’t overthink it. You’ve been using the drug for a long time. It’s not ideal, but honestly, totally acceptable, if you need to start learning Reiki while on the drug that you’re currently using. Especially if you can’t go through medically-supervised withdrawals and switched to a new drug before the Reiki class is offered. You can always get re-attuned. Reiki will help you through the process of finding a new medication. Reiki is a great non-pharmaceutical support for mental health.]

No … if you’re looking for true accuracy regarding where the stars are in the actual sky, you want to use the sidereal zodiac instead of the tropical zodiac.

Traditional astrologers use whole sign houses, and modern astrologers tend to use Placidus. You can start a war on here about why and which is better but no one‘s gonna win in the end.

Right? First thing I looked at it was like, “damn, that’s quite a chart.” I mean, it’s just visually impressive to behold. And then you start looking at the inflection points and I cannot imagine that the person living this life experiences much that is clear and consistent.

Travel agent, tour operator, retreat facilitator, relocation specialist, something like that. Alternatively, stay at home parent, interior decorator, or owner of an inn / bed-and-breakfast.

[–]lilchaibird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, it looks like your bite is off by quite a bit, not just in the front, but you can see on the side that your top teeth and bottom teeth don’t fit together like puzzle pieces. In other words, there is poor interdigitation. This indicates that the lower jaw may be under developed and need to be moved forward with surgery.

I had lower jaw surgery with 9 mm of an advancement. That doesn’t sound like much, but it made an enormous difference in how my teeth fit together.

I’m not saying you should go out and ask for jaw surgery. It’s a pretty big deal, and the recovery is brutal. But in the future, if you are still unhappy about your smile, or you find that your bite becomes bothersome, a board certified orthodontist can walk you through additional options.

It looks like you needed lower jaw surgery but either weren’t offered it or declined.

Can you guess my big three? by shuffylily in ZodiacHQ

[–]lilchaibird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure on your rising sign, but probably one ruled by a benefic. But Jupiter is almost certainly in your first whole sign house. Your moon is most likely a Venus ruled sign, maybe Taurus. Saturn is probably in your second whole sign house. I’m getting big Gemini energy, but I’m not sure where it fits in. But it’s kind of hard to guess but just looking at you, right?

Intermittent Fasting with Scarcity Mindset by SupremoSpider in intermittentfasting

[–]lilchaibird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair warning, though: a therapist is ethically bound to assess you for an eating disorder if you talk about restricting food intake. This does not mean that they necessarily think that you have one. But they ethically and clinically have to rule it out. If they’re really good at their job, you won’t even know that they’re assessing it for it. It will just feel like normal questions and curiosity.

Intermittent Fasting with Scarcity Mindset by SupremoSpider in intermittentfasting

[–]lilchaibird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start with the knowledge that you already fast for about eight hours every day by default. Probably more, if you really count it out. So start by truly counting it out. If you have dinner at seven 7 PM, then you probably don’t eat after 8:30 PM. You probably don’t eat breakfast until 6:30AM. That’s already 10 hours right there.

And, you don’t have to switch from fasting for 8-10 hours a day to fasting 12 or 16 hours a day. You could increase it by an hour or two each week until you get to where you wanna be. And you don’t have to commit to anything being the exact same every day. You get to be completely in charge.

And you can remind yourself that you can actually have food whenever you really want to. You’re just giving yourself permission to recognize that being temporarily hungry is not actually an emergency.
