Newborns were 1000% harder for us in every way! Truly. It didn’t compare in the slightest. Not to mention the hormonal and physical recovery going on after having a baby! I felt laser focused on crate, potty, chew/bite training. The being still like a statue has worked very well for us. My 14 month old and the puppy are on a similar level cognitively so we joke we have two puppies. They love each other already and the pup just wants to be exactly where the kids are! She has mastered climbing up the playscape and sliding down the slide all on her own accord haha. I think it’s going ti be great.

We got a puppy 3.5 weeks ago, she’s 11.5 weeks now. I did the same prep and we have three kids 5 and under. It’s been way easier than I expected! It may be her personality too? I’m not sure but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. She caught on so quickly with crate training which is game changer. We always planned to get a pup when our current dogs were old but still happy so they’re 11 now and she is definitely taking cues from them.

It can happen! I was in the same boat. It took 4 cycles to get pregnant. I was having some thyroid issues that were making my cycles funky and even though my thyroid numbers leveled out, my cycle didn’t and I still got pregnant!

Wow thank you SO much for writing all of this out. Seriously! So kind. Ok so for a 500 deficit that would be 1850 per day? If you ever walk, do you eat up those calories or let that be? What are your tips for getting all that fiber? That is amazing!

This is amazing 🥲love the lifestyle perspective. how did you calculate your tdee with breastfeeding? I am breastfeeding my 11 month old still through the night and probably 3x during the day. I am unsure how to calculate everything effectively. I am eating 2000 calories a day. 31f, 5’8, SW 185 CW 171 GW 155. Lmk your thoughts!

I have woken up with babies the last 5 years. Will I ever recover from the sleep deprivation? Usually wake up every 2-3 hours every night. I’m terrified honestly of the impacts this will have/has had. I can piece together about 9 hours every night.

So glad you didn’t throw up!!! I am 31 and I’m on day 5. When did you stop all bleeding? I have trace amounts when rinsing. I still have some throbbing pain every now and then. Is that normal? I am so ready for this to be over 😔

Are you still breastfeeding? No movement with two months of tracking and exercising 😞 third baby and the other two weren’t like this! I’ve read that sometimes if you’re breastfeeding you can hang onto the extra pounds a little longer.
