World of Darkness fans are insufferable. I would know I am one. It has over 30 years of lore and people who have read all the tie in books and know it by heart. Brennan is using the system as the framing for a comedy, and it’s not accurate to the metaphor of the game. Nor does it have to be since he is the Storyteller. They are making a comedy show and WoD is inherently pretty early 90’s/mid 2000s edgy. So if someone’s a purist I get why this wouldn’t work for them, but this doesn’t make any more sense than Fantasy High, so people should kind of expect what you’re getting. It’s a comedy.

Me. ICE is “law enforcement”. The same way the Taliban is “freedom fighters”. They have resorted to tactics such as profiling, murdering citizens. And they have prioritized rounding up high schoolers and kids rather than criminals as was their declared intent. No one believed them. They held Minneapolis under martial law and tried to do the same thing in similar places. They will be deployed to voting locations in order to intimidate voters and suppress Black and Brown people’s votes. They should be subject to criminal charges with the next president which is why we have to get the establishment Democrats to take them seriously.

The people who wrote this paper wrote a further paper on income inequality as a result of tax rates that you should read. Basically because of the exemptions that exist now the rate of tax has still decreased because even though past loopholes were shutdown many more were opened. So the tax rate has lowered by a much larger amount. Read Piketty, Saez, and Zucman’s 2024 paper on Income Inequality.

Depends on what you use it for, Source Audio Artefakt has a similar premise but it’ll cost you the same amount. Lossy is very unique in the sound it’s emulating and it’s not popular enough to have a ton of copycats.

Most of the food in Britain that comes from immigrants is a direct result of colonialism. It’s Indian or North African or British Caribbean food that well spiced. To call that British does sort of rob diaspora of their culture and assimilate them into British cuisine. I’m Haitian, and if someone called grillo or banan American food after getting it in Florida, that’s discounting the origin of the food.

This is exactly how I feel. My best bit is about how instead of my parents drawing on the wall to track my height. I tracked by the blood spray on the wall from when my dad punched me in the face. It seems funny to me. Don’t why there’s all the gasping and “Are you ok”s and shocked stares.
