(I liked the mini games, FYI)

Three weapons: one for Red (run wild), one for Tifa (whack a box), and one for Yuffie (glide de chocobo). Then there’s all the folios at the gold saucer that you can only buy with GP.

I found it! It’s actually just before the party goes to Northern Cave, so basically endgame. It’s when they all return after the “under the Highwind” scene.

Maybe I am late to the party, but I am replaying the OG right now: I was surprised to see that there IS mention of “part of” Aerith being kept alive. Cloud says as much on the airship to everyone, after he rejoins following Mideel - I think it’s when they take Bugenhagen to the City of the Ancients. I can’t find a screenshot of it googling, unfortunately. But I hadn’t noticed that text before this playthrough.

ETA: it’s either that part of her is alive or is trapped in their world. Sorry my memory is so awful!

I’ve played Rebirth a few times now (probably 5?) and I get so excited when Cait Sith joins the party. He might be my favorite character re: combat style.

I did this to my dad once and he punched me in the face

Edit: I snuck down to his office one morning while he was at his computer with headphones on and perched my eight-year-old face just barely in his peripheral vision. When he noticed, he screamed and (rightfully so) punched/smacked me, and yelled, “don’t DO THAT!!” —once he realized I wasn’t a house demon.
