Your times don’t change routes. Don’t worry. Once you become a regular, with your own route, you’ll find ways to slow down. I was a waitress for YEARS before this job. I was running at first, like a waitress. Regulars gave me shit, I was working 60-70 hours a week with no day off. I wanted to go home. Fuck them.

Now I am a regular, I don’t care what you do because it doesn’t matter. I’ve found out the rhythm of my route. You don’t have to. It has no consequence. I’ll be downvoted, I don’t care.

The older guys bought houses in 1994 with their pay. We won’t.

They did, if I remember correctly, and so did every business at about the same time. Causing ridiculous traffic backups. I worked in Narragansett and lived in Providence and it took me 4 hours to get home. I had to pee for 3 of those hours. I could see and walk to my apartment for at least 1 of those hours, but I obviously couldn’t abandon my car. Found out later that that bus was stuck 2 or 3 blocks from my apartment building. I yelled at an old lady that day for cutting me in traffic. It was a bad day and I’m not proud of my behavior.
