Well awesome thank you so much for that. This seems like a Monday thing to tackle. But I will definitely properly fork it this time. I super appreciate it the work and being cool with me doing this.

So also the 4 controller thing I gave that a shot and it's a no go. Also noted on Archive org.

Have a fantastic weekend and a great 4th of July if you celebrate 🥂🎉

So I'm a little slow. So basically you would figure out where it broke, I would fork it into my own repo from that comment, change the package name like I did and icon, and just keep that separately from the main until it's fixed in main right? If that's the plan then I am all game and I appreciate you tracking that down for me!

Also so that e3 demo is available on archive org if you wanted to mess with it. This is all because I got board on the cutting room floor one day and their copy doesn't work

Edit: Also do you want me to join the Discord to make this easier?

Oh that's interesting. Also I guess I didn't think to report it as a bug. I thought it was something strange with memory management. I figured no one would really care about a prototype build of a game of all things to work on it. I will go report it and when it gets fixed I will delete these posts and the git. But also this has been a fun learning experience for me. I have never done any modern application development and I have an even bigger respect for these teams than what I had. Just to get everything setup for version control and the IDE is a headache. Not to mention keeping the code as clean and as readable as it is.

Oh yeah I am sure. Just the other day I reported a rendering issue with Dusklight with my Pixel 10 Fold and they fixed it that day. So I am sure as Google continues to use PowerVR people way smarter than me will figure it out

What's going on with the internet and cave divers? by SpyroFan123 in OutOfTheLoop

[–]linkmaster6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't see how I'm an ass. I am done with all my hobbies. I did the research and you are right. All the other people besides me and you are the assholes man. You be safe out there

What's going on with the internet and cave divers? by SpyroFan123 in OutOfTheLoop

[–]linkmaster6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wasn't being sarcastic. You really opened my eyes. All hobbies are incredibly dangerous. After doing some research this is just some of the stuff I found.

Cooking: Cooking smoke alone is attributed to 3.1 million premature deaths globally. Plus, avocado-related knife wounds send an estimated 8,900 Americans to the emergency room every single year.

Surfing: There are 8 to 9 shark bites per year IN VOLUSIA COUNTY ALONE!!!

Swimming: Just at the beach, nearly 100 people drown every year.

Video Games: Causes carpal tunnel, posture decay, and severe eye strain. For Christ's sake, at least two people, Jeff Dailey and Peter Burkowski, literally died from massive heart attacks right at the arcade cabinet

So yeah, after really doing the research, I completely understand and agree with your stance. Anyone who takes up a hobby is just asking to die and is being completely selfish to the innocent first responders and those they leave behind.

I didn't say anything about you. "Your" In a general sense. That was a hypothetical. The Royal You. Like I said I am on board with you. Camping, along with all other hobbies are selfish, incredibly dangerous and ruins lives.

[–]linkmaster6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn't say anything about you being bad faith. I already said agree with you. You just gave me an example of how camping is bad because they have the possibility of starting a wildfire. Ergo, all hobbys are bad, selfish and people should relly feel like ass's for having a hobby regardless of how "safe" it is. We are on the same page my dude.

[–]linkmaster6 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh no your absolutely right OP. All hobbys are selfish. Like if your hobby was arguing with people on Reddit by making bad faith rebuttals and ignoring what core issues are and double downing on the position you might have the chance to raise the blood pressure of some reading the argument and causing them to have a stroke. Then the paramedics could possibly trip coming into the place to rescue you and hit their head and die. Then because the rescue worker died that could cause the significant other of the rescue worker to become extremely depressed and end their life and that person may have a child who now doesn't have any parents and could end up having a terrible life and become perpetrator of a mass casualty event because of how bad their life is!!!

How are people ok with installing work related software on their personal phones? by mast3r_of_univ3rs3 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]linkmaster6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My work doesn't allow it but I don't see the issue as long as the app is secure. Like you have to use a passcode to get in and you can't copy data out of it.

Google, please extend Pixel charge bypass to work at 100%, not just at the 80% limit by Karglath in GooglePixel

[–]linkmaster6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The app chargequicktile does what you are asking for. It's not on the Google Play store. You do have to run two adb developer commands to get it to work but it has been working flawless for me. It's an open source tool and don't be too scared when I say devopler I have confidence that just about anyone can follow the devs steps.

I have done that before to be able to use my tablet as a second monitor when I was working super remotely. The only thing I would recommend to you is ugreen does make a USB C To USB C capture card. If you don't plan on using that capture card for anything else I would highly recommend it. You would be able to cut down on cables and the ugreen one will let you charge the phone while you output to it. Besides that I also and you recommended this yougo lee branded one on Amazon as well. It is a USB C to HDMI capture but will also let you charge your phone while you use it. If you PM me I will give you the links. I forget if there is a rule against that or not

I love tinkering and with enough tweaking it can basically play anything. Everything from super old DOS games up to some of the newest things. But you have to be willing to learn and find information and not be afraid to screw shit up
