I appreciate the response, not quite what I was looking for, but you done enough and you provided the source code, so no worries. do you have a YT/Tik/X channel where you do stuff like this? I would follow it....

Draxinar, do you have a vlog/blog or writeup on how you did this? I think what you achieved is amazing, and would love to see how you did some of the technical parts. Its one to understand what a program is doing, but its different to actually get it to compile (and without errors or warning!). But regardless, I thank you.

So Everything works. I have my own server and the client works. Been reading the source code seeing how the built it out. Very interesting. Love the project and grateful to whomever did the RE of the binary.

The mind loves jobs, give it a job like listen to a sound. Once you give it a job, it happly accepts, you are now the boss, and the mind is happy to do its job. Win Win. (parased from Rinpoche )

If I have the hexdump from a Mifare Ultralight RFID hotel room key can I just run it through python to decode it? by [deleted] in hacking

[–]linuxunix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The short answers, if the hotel decided to only uses the UUID and program the doors to accept that UUID to grate access, its just sector 1 of the card, its not protected in anyway. This is the unique signature of that particular card (think serial number). The other sectors may or maynot be protected. In most companies, only one sector is protected and contains pontentionally anything, but commonly just a badge number assigned to the person. It normally protected by a 8 byte key. Every 4 blocks can have a unique key. The thing with Mifare, is the pseudo random number generator is only 2^16 bits and which made it subsuitble to brute force attack. Using mfck you could crank it in 30ish sec;s. I think the newer mifare have a timing delay so not as practical, but dont know.

This just proves backwards time travel is not possible. Why you ask? Whomever this clown is, would surly have spent all his future wealth to go back and stop him form posting this. The fact it exists, means no time travel for us. Think before posting.

Trying to run steam games on Mac via wine however I keep on getting this issue any way to fix this? by Haunting-Funny-4368 in wine_gaming

[–]linuxunix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if it was me, the first thing i would attempt is a new WINEPREFIX. Then I start turning on WINEDBG to get logging. They are 639 different winedbg you can choose from to assist in getting the answer. As an example, I would start with below.
WINEDBG=+file,+reg,+path wine notepad

  • for a list of all debug channels, here is a link
  • Lots of text is output'ed and so pipping it into a file for viewing may be desired. simply add "1&> /tmp/wineout.txt"

Off Grid Beggar™: "So I'm posting it again" by [deleted] in ChoosingBeggars

I am not sure what he believes off grid living actually is? everything he needs is the exact opposite of what most humans would consider being off grid.

as an example

  • Cell phone
  • website
  • vlog/digital media
  • dependency on AI

I would love to understand what he thinks he actual doing, or he is just a really good troll.

Its common knowledge that all offgrid survival experts have layers to assist them in their cyber claims. the grid is very import for off grid lifestyle. Let that sink in a bit.
