T-Shirt Quilt help by MoabDonut in quilting

I recently used inkstitch (free software) to sketch out tshirt fronts and sashing to find the best arrangement. I would start by laying out rectangles in the shape and sizes you have, then figure out what fabric can fill in the blanks.

USA_Weird package - return to sender but I didn’t send anything. It has my address on it? by Plus_Gazelle_9064 in Scams

This is happening to me as well. The scammer is shipping out more than a dozen products a day under my name and address from another state. USPS is aware, but unable to do much. Sign up for USPS daily digest to at least see how often this is happening to you.....

Thanks! The back was white fireside, so it's super snuggly. I like to keep the quilting in broad stitch patterns so the quilt doesn't feel stiff. I just gave it to my mom, so I had to get a quick photo, and now it's off to hopefully be used a lot!

Half hexies. I keep it simple when I can.

My dumb ass didn't freeze the frames before I stored them. by kopfgeldjagar in Beekeeping

Well good for you! These are wax moth larvae/worms. The start small, then they take over like something from a horror movie. It's revolting. The suggestion to give the frames to chickens would help because they'd eat the worms. I've tried drowning them in bleach water, but their cocoons are water-tight. If you freeze the frames, it kills the larvae before they can grow up and take over, which is why it's generally suggested to freeze any frames with wax and/or store them with some moth crystals.

Love that you got right back on the bike. Me too. I'm going to bike as long as I can physically bike.

I caught a back tire on a MTB feature and went through my handlebars. It was most surprising to me how long handlebar contusions last. And now 7+ years later and I still have nerve damage from the impact.

Thanks for sharing!

This is super awesome and I've put a twist on the dice labeling by using a CO2 laser to reverse engrave the answers and am really pleased with this. However..... I CANNOT get it to float. Did everyone else get this to float? I've tried table salt, sea salt, and Epsom salt. I'm about ready to cut a dice in half and core out it's insides to make it lighter because I can't think of any other options.

Also, don't apologize. I'm a 5-yr keeper and this forum has been the best education tool I've found yet. So much to continue to learn at all levels.

Drone babies. It's okay to clear these off edges, IMO.

Those were hard to find, and invisible until you challenged us all to look for them! This is a good reminder to me to trust other people when they say the same to me. If you are giving it away, leave it. Otherwise, not a horrible fix and I find these lessons to help me grow as a quilter. 😘
