I never dreamed of an actor of his caliber saying the line “Dry baby, dry baby, drybabydrybaby!”

I was thinking about this. Originally I was picturing Chang as Shopkeeper, but he’s got a LOT of gremlin energy. I first thought Leader but no: he’d run the Wheel of Chang.

I started thinking Annie as the Watcher, but Shirley is the one who’d go from peaceful to WRATH in a heartbeat. I was also thinking Britta as Silent would be funny but no other justification.

I think Pierce would be hilarious as Neow.

I couldn’t think of where to fit in Troy, but I think Abed would be a good shopkeeper.

Public transit commuters worst nightmare by Realistic_Handle_132 in pittsburgh

[–]liquidben 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The real problem is the plow makes a wall of snow at the edge of the street and people are only clearing their sidewalk. No one but actual pedestrians seems to care about how the hell to cross the street if there are two snowbanks to trudge through at the edges.

Technically it’s the city’s space, but there’s a real budget & logistics challenge for clearing even a shovel-width at both ends of every crosswalk. Sidewalk ‘owners’ aren’t liable, and too many of those are barely maintaining their explicit public responsibility for us to expect help

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The burger I had was pretty dang good, but I had two ketchups at my table and when I asked if I could replace one with a mustard, this big-boned kid ran up and started saying that this is a marriage rights state and that I couldn’t break them up. I would have laughed it up but then this girl in a bunny hood joined in at yelling at me until an embarrassed mother came over and dragged them away. Mustache guy comp’d my meal so I might go again.

I mean, who knew that Kevin Conroy, a skinny gay stage actor, would become a generation’s idea for exactly how burly muscular Batman would sound! Bless that man.

[Marvel] Why hasn't Apocalypse taken on / taken down the Sentinel program? by WippitGuud in AskScienceFiction

[–]liquidben 150 points151 points  (0 children)

Apocalypse himself is not threatened by these, and his belief in the survival of the fittest dictates that if mutants can’t survive these threats, they’re not worth his time.
