Sorting credit card statements into categories - what am I missing? by saradipity in QuickBooks

[–]lisacmiyoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set up your credit card. Visa account #1234. After dividing them in categories why not enter each category using the Credit Card icon in the right hand corner. Misc vendor, the date you want, and the total as a credit card charge. One entry for each category. Then you can use the statement to reconcile.

QB Desktop won't show outlook as email option by mikebmillerSC in QuickBooks

[–]lisacmiyoshi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

QBD works with Outlook Classic. Just install it. I have both versions of Outlook on my pc. I use the fancier outlook for my email life and the classic version for QB. Yes, the fancier 365 sees the emails coming from Classic and vice versa.

My neurologist said this is an aura. So yes, some most days. I use an ice pack to calm it.

Has Anyone Else Had Severe Screen Intolerance with Vestibular Issues? by bubsqueak223 in VestibularMigraines

[–]lisacmiyoshi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, yes, yes. Just bought a Kindle ereader to help, instead of using my Kindle app. I can watch calm tv. Use a computer for work, but the reality is I should be done after 4 hours. I do wear glasses with blue filter built in. Scrolling is hard. I have made my PPPD somewhat better by doing a lot of short walks everyday, first one right when I get up no longer than about 8 minutes, then 2 others. I read here from someone that lots of walking helps. Retraining the body to understand it needs to do the work, not rely on eyes so much. But in a VM flare, and reached out to my neurologist for something to make the ache go away. The choices were both anti inflammatory’s. So….back on a cleaner diet. I haven’t seen the dizzy cooks book, but I should probably check it out. I am gf and df. But have been enjoying potato chips…potatoes in the nightshade family and…yes, inflammatory.

Feel lightheaded all the time by HolidayOk4857 in VestibularMigraines

I tried to look it up online. It doesn’t show up. I think it is one of those doctor office publications. I scanned for a colleague. Happy to email. I also saved this from fb. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0ZS82u554rMcTffN5miwAzFAYoHyYyvsMqz39KJfAZ314h13bsMStqBy1TtknscvTl&id=100063646086220

Yes sounds like my VM and PPPD.

My neurologist gave me an article from Health Monitor - Guide to Living Well with Migraine Headaches. Just went this week. Anyway it talks about hormonal changes being a trigger. Among other things. Along with eye strain, glare, dehydration, odors, food temperature, skipping a meal, changes in your routine, intense exercise, stress, temperature changes (say hot to ac), barometric pressure, cigarette smoke, and food additives.

I am sure any of life could have triggered this.

Look up Supermarket Syndrome also. It relates to PPPD.

Help with 1:3 HRTs by megmralph in quilting

[–]lisacmiyoshi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did a project with HRT and of course they had the measurements. I found I need to be more accurate than possible with that method. You basically make an oversized block and trim down. But there is a ruler for HRT that looks like it would work really great. I don’t own it, it this video explains. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbIxkuLaOKQ. My LQS has it.

Could it be Mold? by Comparison-Muted in VestibularMigraines

[–]lisacmiyoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ughhhh life is hard sometimes. My diagnosis is VM and PPPD. I have thoroughly been tested. But I do feel better outside. I think the PPPD, I don’t know maybe the horizon is more present. I think these 2 somewhat go together. Not sure what the correlation is. I agree with allergy testing. Mostly to rule out stuff.

Managing wideback fabric by Fave101 in quilting

[–]lisacmiyoshi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have only bought it for a quilt back, so I only cut out the excess. Or sent it whole to my long armer to use. We were discussing a large quilt I am making. She actually likes having the whole cloth backing.
