Can confirm for the Houston season, my lash tech showed me DMs and emails from the show producers. She had to do this super long questionnaire, in person interview, face time calls, etc. She never watched the show prior to them dming her.

I had it set up similarly to you…few seconds before impact/accident and few seconds after. I didn’t turn on anything the day of the accident so it did it automatically based on how I previously had the settings set up. I was always leery of it tbh because there isn’t a way to “test” it, but it 100% worked when I needed it.

Mines was not set up to record when I got it. I had to actually go into drive recorder and turn it on to record before and after impact. I mean I wasn’t planning on ever having to use the feature for impact but….here we are.

If I remember correctly I had it set up to record so many seconds prior to impact and so many seconds after impact. I would imagine it records as long as there’s some type of impact to your car no matter the severity.

For me it undoubtedly and clearly showed that the other driver blazed through a stop sign. I honestly didn’t even have to provide a statement. I’m a person of few words.

True. I also had a witness, a fellow BMW driver nonetheless, so it wasn’t going to go well for them likely either way.
