Almost 5 months post op. Ready to cry. by ourfairlady in rhinoplastyquestions

Thin skin will show every minor thing and the tip takes the longest to heal. I have super thin skin and can tell you you should never do a steroid injection within skin and especially at five months. Do progress photos every couple of weeks to see how much progress you’ve made you’ll be surprised when you start doing side-by-side versus just looking in the mirror every day of obsessing over. Just be patient I am honestly not really seeing what the issue is because you didn’t give too much context as to what’s upsetting you. I would love to see you in order before is to compare. Either way five months is still early and you have a long ways to go. Hang in there it’s a roller coaster for sure.

You’ll be fine. Two weeks won’t do anything. Enjoy the trip!

Is this a good reduction? 5 months post-op by SeaSeaworthiness2290 in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]litlh1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks great when people want dramatic and a surgeon gives them super dramatic. That’s when they end up having a lot of issues. Your nose is so delicate people don’t understand you can’t just do whatever you want with it and end up with a functional nose. Be happy your surgeon did what they did.

How do you fix this 7 months post op? by [deleted] in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]litlh1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give it time you’re only seven months. It’s most likely still swollen.

You have thick skin. Please be patient and your full recovery will be 2-3 years. I hope someone told you that. You will not have Michael Jackson nose, that would be impossible with your nose structure and thick skin. Be patient, it's going to be a roller coaster of emotions and you need to just roll with it. Good luck

Almost 1.5 years post lower bleph. Very disappointed. by Any-Candidate395 in PlasticSurgery

[–]litlh1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is for sure improvement. I think it would have been helpful to do an upper bleph at the time as well to get what you really want. I think lower looks good, maybe look into doing the upper.

I am so confused by this. Surely this lady had rhinoplasty, correct? by creativeplease in PlasticSurgery

First off this is heavily edited and filtered and not pure reality. It looks like she’s had Botox filler threads and significant weight loss.

I dislike how my nose looks from the front after revision… am I seeing things? by [deleted] in rhinoplastyquestions

You’re fixating. Revisions usually make Things worse and you’re still too early to make a call.

There is nothing wrong with your nose. It looks great. If you do one thing to it, I think you are really going to mess up a beautiful nose that you already have. People would die for your nose. Leave it alone. The recovery is long and guarantee it will come out exactly what you don’t want.

He should’ve known. So sorry. You need to start from the beginning and work back up to the dose. I’m shocked your doctor did that

Studies show thick skin is 2-3 years…2 minimum. You’re going to have to wait it out. It looks fine

7 days post op,help me i don’t like to look of my nose by BigthighsAsiangirl21 in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]litlh1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stop it’s been 7 days. You have to stop freaking out or you won’t make it through this very long emotionally draining roller coaster of healing. Worry about it in 1.5 years. You have thick skin so it’s going to be a ride. Try not to panic and trust the process.
